The sleuthing is my favorite part and we got little of it this season.  

Candles and fingernail polish, all the essentials. I really miss it this season.

Okay so is that Chris S with the ring in his hand, in FRC limo and at the FRC wearing a suit? Nothing of Drew or Brooks. So I guess Des decides to give at least Chris another chance? Does that mean Des agrees to a FRC....if Brooks returns at one point does he return?? And was Des willing to accept a proposal from Chris? It's all weird.

I hate this part of the show because people get hurt...it's inevitable. !! The last three guys are all awesome guys. But Desiree is in love with Brooks..she told him so. She said she didn't want him to steal her heart; she wanted to give it to him. She loves him.. I can sure feel the meddling from TPTB with all these troubles. This whole unfortunate scenario began with Brooks conversation with brother Dave at home in  SLC with Dave asking what he would do if Desiree disappeared from of his life and was gone ~~how far would he go to get her back ?? He never had a chance to answer.. But, I guess now we will see on Monday just how far he goes to get her back . I really like Brooks..he was always my very favorite of all the guys. My heart broke for both Des and Brooks as they cried together . I know there's people who will hold a grudge against him which is up to them. I will stand by him as always. I can't imagine wanting to see her settle for Chris or Drew ..that's just unfair to everybody..What a low blow to them. Settling for second best is not right ...I want her to be with the man she loves and that's Brooks .. :cheerpom: 

What if Des decides that two months and all the emotional stress of the season is too much for her to make an intelligent decision and wants to be on her own for a while to sort her feelings and may move on with a man not associated with the show or perhaps just focus on her career? Do you trust her enough to make her own decision even if it is not Brooks? What if it is Brooks and they split in a month? I just hope the "fans" will be forgiving and understanding. I think the girl has been through enough w/o all the cheerleaders voicing their displeasure if things don't go great for their "favorite". JMHO

   This is Desiree and Brooks life not mine..Their choices are their own and where their choices takes them only God knows. She states she loves Brooks, and  I happen to believe he loves her in return. I also happen to think they are beautiful together.  I will continue to cheer them on no matter where their lives lead them. I don't think life holds any guarantees for any of us..If she's happy with Brooks, that's a beautiful thing and If not it wasn't meant to be...and they will move on.. And I will continue cheer for them because that's the way I am .  Must be the mom in me.......   

I so agree with you.  Cannot understand how bad things can be said about Des if she follows her heart. How can you say Brooks does not love Des when we do not know his heart.  I thought all along that he did love her but he did not give his heart a chance to feel because he was letting his head do too much thinking.  We also have to remember he thought she was conflicted about the relationships with the other guys and was probably scared to get hurt.  Like I said in another post while he was breaking up with her his heart took over and he did not want to leave her.  If he didn't love her he would have gotten out of there as fast as he could but he couldn't make himself do it.  Something wanted him to stay there and hold her and I say that was his heart saying he loved her.

But that is just me I am also a hopeless romantic.  If Des is happy with Brooks I will wish them all the best and not start the count down on the break up.  Instead I will pray they have a life time of happiness.

Absolutely I miss those days.

There has been less and less every season.  It's sad, that was my favorite part.  I guess that's why I was hoping against hope for a RS blunder, so that at least for next season, people might think he could be wrong again.  I doubt those days come back now because there are too many sources now.  Fleiss and ABC need to clean house or something.  I have friends that watch Survivor and Amazing Race and they're amazed at the spoilers that come out of the Bach shows vs those shows.  

I am thinking that after RS got last season's f1 wrong. That it was a direction that has needed to be done for some time now. Is he wrong now. I am hoping so. That would turn this entire show around. Because then RS wouldn't know if his information is true or false.
This to me would be the pivotol season. If he's right nothing got changed. Then if he's wrong, from here on out it would be anyone's guess. And he wouldn't be able to trust his sources. That is one thing I would love to see happen. Some of the alumni really hate spoilers so they could of had some input with MF at one point. Only time will tell come Monday.

Nannymargie....I used to make up excuses for guys who were wishy washy about me. My sister would always lecture me and I didn't believe her. She told me if guy really loves a girl he will do all he can to have her and pursue her. Then there are those guys who kind of like a girl but not fully in love. I didn't used to believe her. Then I met my hubby...he pursued me like crazy...anything I said he liked. I didn't have to try to make him like me or worry about what I would say or worry about how he felt about me. I have friends who are married to wishy washy guys...they are secretly insecure in the relationship.

I mean maybe there's a chance Brooks could fall in love but I just don't think so. Des deserves a guy who would love her more than Brooks would. The problem is she needs to find a guy she loves that loves her at least the same amount or more. In my opinion it's always better for a guy to like the girl more..esp in the beginning. Girls tend to get more attached as the relationship grows so it's not good for it to start off with the girl liking the guy more.

That would be so much fun... I wonder if those fun days are gone forever ?? I remember my first season being involved with the boards and that was Ali's season. I remember Brad's second season how people sleuthed the time of day by the shadows on the ground etc ...I was amazed at the detective work ...It was absolutely awesome fun. BTW, I cried my eyes out for Chantal...Speaking of Chantal , she was due to have a baby in July, and I have never heard anything else. Wonder if it was a boy or girl ?? She stays pretty quiet..

We sleuthed a lot even after RS rose to 'power'. Always trying to figure out if he was right. But this season we didn't get much from bystanders and then towards the end of this season, even the previews dried up. Disappointing to all!

I saw how happy Brooks was on that HTD.  I think it's strange that the show doesn't let the people say anything and we have to rely on Chris Harrison to spin what happened and have no way for Brooks to say anything.

Brooks made it clear that he ENJOYED their dates and the time he was with her. But he also was terribly clear to Des that when they were apart there was nothing there. So, yes, he WAS happy on his HTD -- Des happened to be there as well -- your eyes were not deceiving you.
