I posted the following earlier (don't recall which thread).

I don't understand why Brooks would leave and give up the opportunity to talk to Des away from the cameras. Why give the other guys an opportunity to further their relationhip with Des while he allows his relationship to stall??? That makes no sense to me, unless Des was the one who sent him away. jmo

Because he thinks it's over. Or rather, maybe she thinks it's over and he's totally beside himself.

Because he thinks it's over. Or rather, maybe she thinks it's over and he's totally beside himself.

I don't know why either, Brooks has no proof it's over and unless they both decided not to go further during their initial meeting it makes no sense. If this is the case, Brooks is not coming back, I sure wouldn't.

This is what makes no sense to me either and why, when his issues seem to stem from being away from her or at least that's what I hear from him - why wouldn't you want to be with her every chance you had? Then, if he comes back, what makes it believable that spending even more time away from her made his heart grow fonder and he was ready to be engaged in a matter of days. If Des sent him away, then she doesn't look credible either if she accepts a proposal from someone she just sent away a few days before because she had doubts about him. Also she's not going to come of well leading the other two on.
Of course, a lot of what goes on in this show isn't always credible so who knows.

I totally agree with you about this under normal circumstances..but this is such a weird venue..speed dating on a TV show...I don't know how they can stay confident when the one they are falling for is dating others right in front of their eyes. That's just not normal... I could never do it and can't imagine how it would actually make a person feel.. !! :WAVEY:

Exactly, life IS hard for two people and they work together to get through as a couple...the problem is this is a quadruple.

Desiree looks totally happy and looks like she can't wait for the finale. She's already said that if the guy doesn't love her, it's not meant to be and she moves on. So, that's what happens.

I think that from Date 1 things were going too smoothly between Des and Brooks so MF decided to create MANUFACTORED drama. This time MF wants something different: Boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back at the end. That's how I see it-out of the left field when all hope is lost, the knight in shining armor(Brooks) re-appears and proposes. THE END.

I agree that MF uses some symbolisms to tell a story throughout the entire season to make the theme fit.
After watching the HTD, it cannot be anyone but Brooks.

It was that new posters to which love_me responded that was what she was hearing too. Then the next day the spoiler came out that Brooks was F1 via (cmiiw) San.

Thanks. Maybe some truth to it since thats what Love was hearing initially, rather than a poster who hasn't been back. Maybe Brooks showed up right after that or it really is Drew, Drew, Drew! THough I still don't think her body language matches her words w him.
