That assuming he breaks up with her...I don't think he does.

I agree with this. Aside from it appearing that he leaves based on the spliced previews that MF wants us to see there is no other proof that he "breaks up" with her. They didn't show him on the final dates b/c they want us to assume he leaves. I don't feel the other guys would be "shaken to their core" just b/c Brooks left- unless at that point Des called the entire journey off. We still don't know or have many clues as to WHAT happens other than she has dates with Drew and Chris that appear to be happy, she is on a pier with Brooks very upset and there are lots of tears at some point in those days by all. :greenman: :greenman:

All of the 4 involved(Des, Brooks, Chris, Drew) are all adults in their mid-late 20's, so can be assumed mature adults with past dating histories.
Now put them in this dating experiment--the bubble. What would you do --not being in the bubble--as an objective variable if you were in the mix? And what will each do being in the bubble?
I don't have a favorite in the mix, so I am interested in see how each handles it and what it ends up after real life takes over and the bubble pops.
I think if it were me--and I was Drew/Chris and Brooks stays--that would be it for me. Game over. I may go along with what TPTB insisted if the contract specified it, but my heart would be out.
If I were Des, and Brooks put me through a wishy washy--it would not portent well for the relationship long term. I don't know if I would have the strength in the bubble to oust him, but I know once back in real life it would weigh heavy on my heart. I want someone to want me, for me, to know their own heart and not have to check it out with momma and sissy first. Hopefully, that will change.
No good deed goes unpunished.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, bye Felicia!

I agree with you Kasha, but I'd just like to add that I think what Brooks is feeling for Des came out of left field and hit him square between the eyes like a 2 x 4.
If the variables were removed and this was a normal relationship in the normal world, I don't see Brooks holding back or being unsure. But I think being his father's desertion plays a role in this situation...it has to.
Just when things are developing? BOOM! You can't see or speak more than a few words with each other. In the meantime, you have to watch the person that you are falling in love with go on dates and build relationships with other people. Then you have the pesky handlers manipulating your brain every waking minute, causing you to constantly question and doubt what you think you feel and what you think she feels, talking about the other guys connections and the fact that they are professing love.
Whether you sign up for this or not, there is no way to prepare yourself or get through it gracefully...well, unless you are Cat.
