A story has five basic but important elements. These five components are: the characters, the setting, the plot, the conflict, and the resolution. These essential elements keep the story running smoothly and allow the action to develop in a logical way that the viewer can follow.

When you have a show like TB where they want to keep you guessing until the end, they throw out all kinds of possible resolutions to the conflict so we can debate and keep talking about the show.

The conflict is clearly that Des is in love with the one guy that cannot commit to her and tell her he loves her back.

Bee , I love up your insights ! I'm a novice at this. I'm from a message board not a board designed for sleuthing. You hang around the best and you're apt to learn something. CH's last comments after the preview from MTA said ok start discussing! They know that they are playing with us. We know there is only ONE love story being told and the others no matter how much TPTB magnify it, are side stories. There is only ONE crescendo. Again, thank you.

Sweet Home Alabama. Jeremiah James Korfe is the guy in my avatar that won that reality TV dating show that was very similar to TB. He is a Minnesota boy and a very talented musician!!! You can check out my blog if you want to know the 'real' story about what went down on that show. He and Paige broke up after a year and I did a short blog about that as well.

Rolly...I think Des is sincere about finding love. I believe her when she says she will relocate if she needs to in order to plan a life with someone. I don't see this as a way for her to market herself or further her career.

I also think Brooks is just as sincere, from what we have seen of him.
