This is probably another stupid question (I seem to having quite a few today) if Brooks decided to leave on his own would they actually keep him around for a full week until the FRC?

I think he'd stay, but a week?  IDK.  I do think he'd just be at the MTA, because he'd show up unlike Frank.

In recent b'ette seasons they have been sequestering the F3 till the end. For Ems season Arie and Sean returned together to the states.

There's no way they'd want Brooks at the MTA if he didn't come back. They'd want to save him for the ATFR because of Des declaring love for him and him breaking her heart. I do think he returns although not until the day before the FRC.

They don't usually reward those who leave and come back by giving them special things like lost dates. I think what they'll do is have Brooks talk to Des about his feelings & it's possible he may talk on the phone to her parents like Jason did with Melissa's.  Then Des will probably say she has to think about it. I imagine he'll be at the FRC no matter what.

The took it out of Ed's FD. He left much earlier in the season so not quite comparable. They did have an extra week with dates for all guys but Jillian chose to spend more time with Ed making it an overnight. There were pics of Reid & Jillian at a suite in previews so not sure that Ed was the only one.

Brooks left at the beginning of his FD from the look of it thereby forfeiting the precious alone time at the FS. I just don't see them letting him have a proper LCD & MTP. I could be wrong of course. It's jmo.

Thanks albean. What you say makes sense... and if Brooks leaves at the FD, it's actually more like Ali's departure on Jake's season... very late in the game ... now will Des let him back?? Interesting that you think he'll be at the FRC either way. I guess we'll just have to wait and see... :-)

IF the spoiler is wrong, MF would pay to have him flown in for that rejection. ITA with Kasha, that the FRC is on May 6. my own `undercover investigation`even suggest me that the FRC may took place on May 5. so its rather impossible for Brooks to have a complete LCD and MTP. soo count me in as the one who think that Brooks will return right before FRC, or even right on time `crashing` a FRC ceremony.

i do think they still keep Brooks on the island..so no need to flown him in again.

I do agree that if she chooses another she would do a complete and final rejection of Brooks whether prior to the FRC or at the FRC itself. That will bring the closer the viewers need. If they leave it as him dumping her then she will look very sorry indeed. Also, if she takes him back after he has done a number on her she will look sorry as well.

I am in agreement with the bolded. That would have to happen for both the viewing audience and also for Des and whoever she ends up choosing.

At this point we are not even sure if Brooks is the one who decides to leave or if it's Des.

If she does take him back after she lets him go, then that won't make her look as bad. But if he leaves and she takes him back after having been more into him all along, then I think she's not going to come out it looking good at all.

It all depends on how it plays out and what they show us. I tend to agree with this idea that Brooks doesn't ever really leave the island.

If Des wanted Brooks all along and he finally can put the "I am in love" to what he's feeling, then all's good. It's not that he doesn't FEEL these things for her all the time. I'm sure she can trust him as much as she always could, because he's always been completely honest and open with her. I'm sure they come to see eye to eye.

If Brooks wasn't open and honest with her then he wouldn't have the guts to tell her at his HTD that they "have a good relationship", that he's having a hard time. He tells her that and that takes guts, especially when there are three other guys that could take her away. He doesn't tell her he loves her just to make sure she keeps him around. He doesn't want to say it any sooner than he knows it.

Who's to say what happens, anyway? Does he really "leave" or does she just take something he says wrong, in a way he didn't expect? (Which makes more sense based on what he says "There's nothing I can say.") I think she must just take something wrong. Or, maybe he's just royally confused and doesn't know what he wants at that point, so it sounds like a letting go, but he's just confused—and her response doesn't make it any better.
