Sorry, but i am just not on the jp train. IMO, tonight's epi showed:

1) JP is jealous, kinda dangerously so
2) JP does have a temper, you can see it under the skin boiling and the comments that were made emphasized that
3) Ben is showed as having a real gentle connection with Ash that is being shown as a nurturing one.......
4) Ben and Ash's connection is strong physical and emotional
5) we are only seeing a physical connection with JP which is traditionally F2 edit
6) we are given a clue as to why Ryan returns.........she does have the ... thought in her mind as she still wasn't sure that she made the right decision.

it's like we share a brain.

when JP was sitting on the couch and couldn't speak because he was so jealous, I saw someone with control and anger issues. It's fine to be a little jealous, but to the point you can't speak and need to walk away?? Especially AFTER Ben said they had separate rooms. Maybe this process magnified jealousy issues he displays in real life, but it definitely highlighted that he is the jealous sort, and in this scenario by itself, highlighted to the degree it was, it not F1 material - not by a longshot.

And did you see the daggers that were being shot at Ben through JP's eyes............LOL. Bottom line, JP really isn't exibiting F1 edited traits. Considering in the history of the show, one that is showing jealous traits never seems to be the F1.

I've been trying to say it as well, finally I gave up, but tonight's epi brought it out again as plain as the daggers in JP's eyes and the nose on my face..........LOL.

What about how Roberto looked at the RC where Ali talked about Frank, not jealous but not thrilled. I remember everyone seeing she was into Roberto, even though Frank was being thrown at us, then episode where she went on scooter date with Chris and rolled around in the grass and then hometowns, the tides turned to Chris being F1. I get the same feeling this season. Jordan was frontrunner even though TPTB threw Bentley at us(ala Frank), and now episode before hometowns, Ben is moving ahead.
I will be curious to see if family interaction similar, being that Ben's family will love Ashley and Jordan's will have doubt as to weather she is right or good enough for Jordan.

I believe it will, TP are already showing similar HTD situations from Ali's season. I remember the previews for Roberto's HTD showing his father being the "tough guy" and making it seem as if it was going to be tense and difficult. I'll be watching to see which HTD's we actuallly see Ashley leaving, and which one we don't.. that always seems to be a clue.

Well, for starters, I don't really know if Ryan is there to convince Ash that they belong together, but what I was told is that they spent more time together talking than what RS is leading us to believe.......I was also told by spending time together, it is a strong possibility of them doing something with that time........

It is a combo thing.........the Ash/JP love is too much........something that is indicitive of a F2 edit. Like with Jill and Kip, she kept talking about his kisses and how she can't get enoug of them.........the same kind of thing is happening with Ash and JP. With Ben, she is talking about a longer relationship possibilities, and after tonight's epi, she is talkng like she thinks of Ben as her boyfriend.......something that the lead is saying versus what the guy is saying about the lead. In the past, quite often when the guy is talking about his relationship with the lead, that is a F2 edit.........that is again what JP is doing. The lead is talking of her relationship with the guy she is going to be with.........that's what she is doing with Ben. Ali talked of Roberto, Jill talked of Ed.........the final 2's talked about the relationship they are having with the lead......

One thing that I am wondering about.......Ash might be keeping Ryan in her thoughts and wondering if the connection is really there when she was thinking it might not be. I am seriously wondering if Ryan is in a suit on FRC day..........something that should maybe considered???? Maybe matching up jawlines and trying to figure out if Ryan is actually there.........maybe the GSG??

I said this exact same thing after the Hong Kong episode, because I noticed Ryan's jawline and it just struck a cord. I started comparing the height as best I could too. I've had a suspicion that GSG is Ryan.....but I've only mentioned it a couple of times because it is not a popular opinion. I am so glad you said something like that.

LOL, tell me about it. But with what I have been told, how the shows are usually edited, and what is now happening with JP and his over jealous pi's(NOT a F1 trait)..........Ben took a major lead in the F1 department in the show tonight.

I hope so and I hope it starts becoming a more popular opinion......because my rear is soar from having to straddle this fence in order to keep the masses happy!! I would rather stand on firm ground. I know people try to be nice about it....but Ben is the minority vote!! I don't care what is said about chemistry.....I see it with them. It is just a little sweeter and more low-key. I don't see the buddy vibe at all when I look at them.

Well, I wished I had of known you were saying this for weeks........I could have jumped down off my safety fence earlier. Ben still might not get picked, but I hope she does the right thing in the end. I just see so many similarities and traits between needs that they have. They have both made the comment they want someone they can grow with and build a life to share!.

I've also wondered if GSG could be Ryan. He does appear to be tall so it's always a possibility. We don't have a lot of confirmed JP pics later on, maybe there's a reason for that. The seaplane with Ashley could be him, mud bath possibly but could be someone else including Ryan, and I'm not even completely sure that the beach walking pic is him. Even still, I'm inclined to believe that JP made it to the f2 date and the yellow shirt on the beach with Ashley in brown might be the LCD/MTP part.

Edit from last night's show was interesting and noticed some things:

- of course the "I love Ben..." in the intro package. I don't think it was plucked from somewhere else but seems to go with the love theme of the 2 of them last night.
- during the intro Ashley talks about wanting to see in there's an emotional and physical connection with the guys and if they're the "whole package". It appears they used the same clip at the beginning of Ben's date other than it now says "that's the only way I'll go home to meet his family" instead of their family.
-Ashley talked about having very strong feelings for a couple of guys, Ben included. Not a surprise but a confirmation that we saw.
- so many adorable parts like Ben attaching Ashley's helmet strap and his sweet talking (we saw one but they talked about another time).
- we saw Ben say "We're going places" and it's "right out of a fairy tale".
- Ben talked about falling in love and Ashley said that she "might be falling in love with Ben". We haven't heard that in relation to anyone else.
- I noticed that they showed us the name of the hotel they stayed at. It's Silks Place. http://taroko.silksplace.com.tw/index_en.html

Mostly it was the jealousy thing which I've already talked about. I don't think it was a good edit for the f1 person so why show it to that extent? They could have still used it to introduce doubt by scaling it back. We didn't have to see his veins bulging, swearing, and him walking out when Ben was talking about his date. It even ruined the wedding photos because of his attitude. Very sulky and unbecoming.

They could have still used it to introduce doubt by scaling it back. We didn't have to see his veins bulging, swearing, and him walking out when Ben was talking about his date. Couldn't agree more...........JP's jealousy stuff is really unbecoming of a F1 edit. The tide definately is turning more towards a Ben F1 finish. The Silk's Place is something that was sleuthed out a while ago..........I think all locations were sleuthed out and are in the sleuthing section??

Thank goodness.....someone finally sees what I have been seeing ever since he painted that darn elephant. Honest to goodness, I was JP all the way....until "that" group date...and I couldn't help but jump ship. Every single thing they have talked about and mentioned since that point has matched up to each other. On their date, she wondered beforehand if he was ready to let someone in. AND, that night he says he is ready. She claims to want the total package....AND "he's the total package". She wants emotional and physical....AND "I felt Ben's kiss on an emotional level, that's why it was so good."

Over and over.....his PI's and hers, VO's, etc., etc. They just match. She wants her fairytale....and happily ever after. AND this feels like a fairytale. Things may not have been said in the same episode, but if you combine it all. They answer each other. He wants to have someone to grow with and build a life. She claimed, "Brad wasn't right for me. He's settled. I need someone I can grow with and build a life to share."

Not much else I can say to that. Now I'm scared. LOL :hidingchair Jumped off the fence and voiced my opinion. We shall see what happens now. Ben = minority. I'm still not sure why no-one else can see the obvious. It's probably the kissing!! LOL

What does the Silk's Place have to do with anything......there is no way in heck I could read everything here....never seen so many posts. LOL I'm curious to know. Why is that significant?
