If this franchise continues, I wish they would do focus groups or something to see what the fans find entertaining rather than what they as producers do.  The formulas are so well know, they are parodies. I think from an industry point of view it is inexpensive to produce. So why not take some of that money and come up with new, interesting ideas which would show some romance, some humor, some fun, some drama...something for everyone, and a bit to snark about as well.  If their casting needs help, put some attention there as well.  If they are burned out on this process, then stop.  The annoyance factor is so big at what they hype and what they deliver.  With some creativity and thought, they could vastly improve and raise their ratings.  Win/win.

I agree to the bolded!  I think they're surprised they've lasted this long.  Apparently they're making money and are going to ride the train until it stops.  They either think the contrived drama makes a good show and/or they don't want to put much more effort into it (as its lasted longer than they expected anyway).  They prob could have a mini reboot if they did put some "creativity and thought" towards it, as its still more popular (even w the decline this season) than many shows.

I wonder if TPTB will release anything giving us a clue Brooks comes back and or how he does it and her reaction to it...Fleissmeister has to give us a little tease.....doesn't he. Or it would be absolutely crazy not showing him MTP at all?

I actually haven't seen anything yet that Brooks comes back and actually not enough evidence that he leaves. From the SCs it seems he does but it was not conclusive enough. We will not possibly get a tease next week since they will be promo the MTA but will have to wait for a week more. So annoying.
