Also, if Sean chooses not to live in Dallas, that's not anything against his family. What's to say that they have to live near HIS family? They can live anywhere they want. Maybe she wants to be near her family. I do remember Sean saying that he is open to living somewhere else, if his fiancee wanted that. He was willing to move for Emily, so I'm pretty certain he doesn't feel bound to live in Dallas. If he chooses not to stay in Dallas, it most likely has nothing to do with his family.
Well a reliable poster, who is a close friend of the family, posted that Sean would not consider living away from the Dallas area and his family. Sean has also repeatedly stated the same in the past which is why posters are curious about why things have changed. It's not a stretch to think that Catherine may be influencing this change of heart.

Well all I know is what I heard Sean say himself. He was willing to move for Emily and her daughter. And I also remember a recent interview where he said he'd be willing to move for his fiancee if that's what she wanted. I can't remember what interview that was, but he definitely said it.

Catherine is being level headed about all these, she has shared Sean with 25 women didnt give him any sh*t about the confusing things he tells the girls, and now she has to share Sean with the pro who delights in creating the most intimate sexually objectifying dance choreography while being scantily clad as much as possible... and to add to that his family specially his sister don't seem to like her. A lot of fans do not, on twitter she is raked on the coals just for not being white and christian.
It's not a stretch to think that Catherine may be influencing this change of heart.
It's the ABC reality tv machine that is bigger than both of them that is manipulating the situation. Its most likely not Catherine, and what if she is. Would you like to marry a husband who can't consider your happiness and you have to fold to every decision he makes? The wedding seemed to bea business decision for TBTP, (the timing of it will be), he will be paid more than double Melissa's paycheck on DWTS on every appearance, and he will gain more fans and that's what TBTP is hoping for. Because the MACHINE wants Sean the golden boy NOW. And you cannot fault Sean for making the most of these opportunities, he didnt ask for it, it landed on his lap.

Sean did an interview with ET for DWTS and was talking about the whole "is Catherine jealous of all the time I'm spending with Peta" thing and he said basically it's no different than when he's in Dallas going to work in his everyday life so I don't think it's a total foregone conclusion that they won't head back to Dallas after DWTS ends.

Yawn is making his own choice to do DWTS. No one put a gun to his head that I am aware. At least I have not seen any photos with an anonymous person holding a weapon to Yawn while he signs the contract with a deer in the headlights look in his eyes. I guess they could exist and they are still not "out" there.
If it works out for him great. If not I am sure he will make the best of it and move on.

I like these discussions. I too is getting nervous with all this activities Sean is doing. I hope Des has a successful run so not all the attention will be on Sean and he will focus on his relationship. I use to believe him, now I am a little worried.

I wouldn't read the contract beyond the $$$ figure offered. Who wouldn't sign to earn enough money to pay off your future children's college funds in one week of dancing per child? Who wouldn't sign to earn enough money to pay off a handsome mortgage in about 2 weeks of additional time?
All things considered, the guy blew the boat that Emily pitched into the water by going on the show completely out of the water. Wonder how she's feeling with no other option but to swim to shore right now? Clearly this wasn't the man's goal, but it sure does make you wonder.... Chris Lambton was scooped up, a humble, unassuming man with a little landscaping talent - who was certainly not looking for it. Perhaps the road less traveled by those desperate for fame opens doors of opportunities. Anyone taking notes?

I think that Sean's family & Catherine's for that matter, aren't that worried about what people think about them not tweeting/posting about the new couple. I'm sure they've all talked and given their love and support. I have no reason to not believe Sean & Catherine. I'm sure there's some trepidation on both family's part because they are rushing into an engagement and possibly marriage soon. As they get to know everyone I'm sure there will be a lot of relaxing about the situation.

It's as clear as Ryan Bowers' trophy case that Sean is a company man now. He's the male version of Melissa Rycroft, another person that the network "made." Though a flurry of articles appeared in legit media, i.e., The New York Times, The Daily Beast (the new Newsweek), all of which spouted that Sean saved the series, here's some perspective in terms of ratings:
TWOP's known for brass tacks. In light of these ratings, I'm left to wonder the reason that the show is elevating Sean. Ali indicated interest in DWTS and Ashley of all leads was most qualified to do the show, but it never happened for either of them. Why Sean?
The video of Sean for ET, to me, showed a vibrancy and excitement that I've not seen in his post-show interviews; the last time I saw that was on some of his dates with Catherine.

Ratings for 3/11/13:
Final Rose Ceremony: 9.99 million viewers, 3.3/9 in the adult demo
After the Final Rose: 11.01 million viewers, 3.9/10 in the adult demo
Overall Season: 8.42 million viewers, 2.8/7 in the adult demo
So, in the overall ratings for the show, Sean was barely even mediocre, despite Fleiss's attempt to spin this season as a major success. It was more like triage.
Sean beat only Ben in the important 18-49 demo, and he beat only Prince Lorenzo, Ben, Matt, and Charlie in viewers. His season ended up 13th out of 17 Bachelor seasons.
Given Fleiss's spin job, I also find it funny that Sean's ratings were worse than 4 Bachelorette seasons: Trista, Meredith, Ali, and Jen.
Anyway, here's a reprint of the table I posted earlier, updated with Sean's final numbers:

Very interesting, Veg!!
So I guess what MF was really saying is Yawn brought the series back from the near death experience of M and Ben
