No worries! Just wanted to post a friendly reminder. I enjoy season more and obsess a whole lot less when I stay unspoiled for as long as possible. But as soon as I am spoiled, I come on here to read about the top contenders. I still TRY VERY HARD to not know the play-by-play for each episode ahead of time even when I am spoiled to final 4 guys.

It's amazing what all the awesome sleuthers on this site can find out about the show before it airs.

Last season I managed to not know anything other than the f4 even though I knew it fairly early on. I hate knowing the details of every episode going in. I just stayed out of certain threads and it worked. Good luck.

I promise my post is not a spoiler! #pinkyswear

I think Des would eventually say that she understands Sean now because of her seemingly great guys in her season. I know most bashed Sean on why he was still undecided who his F1 till the last minute. Now I think I know his possible reason for his struggle. I've seen Des' contestants in the spoiler thread, they are "great" guys based on their bio. I cannot even choose! AND I am not even Des! Seeing these "great" guys gives me better understanding how Sean struggled with his decision because he did have many great women, too!

I've heard that word on the street is that Sean knew exactly who he was picking, all that indecision was just him acting for the camera!! IMO he'll do and say whatever he's told to do and say.... and apparently he'll sell anything too. He's a freakin puppet, willing to sell himself out for some fame.

Who is saying that? I haven't heard any of the contestants even say it was obvious all along. Catherine was not a match on paper which I why I think it took so long. As far as hydroxy cut.. I think he was naive and did not understand that many are opposed to that kind of thing. Doubt he thought people would care about it. I can look at him objectively... like he's not the best kisser, seems a little stubborn.. but I don't see him being anyone's puppet. He is just raking in as much money as he can, while he can and then I see him using it to set them up in Dallas and carry on with normal life.

I still see Sean as a regular guy who's grabbing all opportunities he can get more so because of financial gain than anything else. And I see nothing wrong with it. The guy will soon marry and want to prepare for it. Besides, all these were offered to him. Lets face it, he may have decent income from being an insurance agent and some business with his friends but being paid (from what i've heard) 100 grand per episode in DWTS is something else...plus endorsements...And on top of that some great experiences to go with it...not bad at all.

I won't be too hard on him...now if he's a millionaire and still out there dancing and what not..now thats famewhoring.

Sean is not naive, he's dillusional. He knew all about Hydroxycut.... we all do, it's not like the product just came on the market within the year. He'll take whatever comes his way. His perogative, but it's telling who he really is. I've said from day one that a truly religious person wouldn't do the show in the first place, especially not be a lead, so everything that he's done so far doesn't surprise me, just confirms my original suspicions.

I don't think Sean was naive about hydroxycut, either. He was a fitness model and a college athlete. The use of those drugs comes up all the time in that arena. That he would endorse them says a lot to me.

Maybe I am naive about it. I read they took the ephedra out of it. What is in it that is still bad for you? I gather from y'alls posts that it's not like green tea and herbs?

Ever been in a board room? There are a bunch of those puppets there too. giggling Difference is they aren't doing it for fame, just money and the corner office! I agree, he is going for all he can get. Don't think it is too different than a lot of people. He just is doing it publically after announcing he wouldn't be doing that. A lot of people do that too only their words aren't being recorded for everyone to dredge up weeks or months later. I see him as a regular guy with stars in his eyes or perhaps $$$.

I think that's what irks me the most Peppermom - his schtick is that he's a virgin Bach, just looking for love, take her home, marry her so she can make apple pies for the church social on Sunday after worship. Sorry, not seeing that wholesome guy. Do I care that he's using the show to make some money? No I don't, but I do object to the hypocrisy of it all.

grace, here's WebMD latest report (Feb 2013) about the active ingredients. My main concern is that, with two previous recalls, there hasn't been enough reliable medical study of the most recent formulation to show it is safe. My other concern, specifically regarding Sean's endorsement, is that the manufacturer says it shouldn't be used by anyone under 18. Sean has countless fans under 18 who are incredibly impressionable. Does his endorsement tell them this is what they should do to lose weight and have energy?

It's an ethical decision he's made to earn money and I strongly disagree with it.

I still laugh whenever i read those words "virgin bachelor" but i think its the image given to him by the show. He could've easily correct everyone and say he's been celibate but not a virgin...that's more truthful. Guess "virgin is more catchy and attention grabbing...

I agree NV. Just own it and live it. If you change your mind, change it and own it. :greenman:
