Weird season - no romance and not really getting to know the top 2. The little subtle clues are fine as proof that Sean and Catherine are together, but this show is not built on subtlety. They have only 3 episodes to show them fall in love for the millions of regular viewers of the show. I really hope for a choice not a proposal more than ever this year despite the spoilers. A proposal would sort of ruin the thoughtful, genuine, principled "Sean" I have come to really like. Wish they hadn't included the line about no one standing out this late. Ouch. If you want an obstacle for them to overcome there it is to me: No storyline, barely any time shown together and 3 episodes to build a romance that could end in a proposal. That's a tall order.

Plus Catherine's comment about Sean's decision of letting Lesley go shattering her ideas of what he wanted!!

IDK this season is super strange to me in so many ways. I am thinking more and more that Des got exactly as far as she wanted to go - #4 - with help from her brother and Fleiss providing loads of airtime - to set herself up for serious consideration for next Bachelorette. I just don't buy that she's into Sean the way that Catherine seems to be and for that matter Lindsay.

I do like AshLee but for someone with such serious abandonment issues, she sure had no problem giving herself to Sean/declaring her love when he had 5 OTHER girlfriends. Yikes! It seems that she is also more interested in sharing her sad story (a la Emily) and getting her finalist spot also in hopes of securing the Bachelorette gig.

And, I am going to throw Lesley into the gunning for Bachelorette role too. I just never, ever saw her as more than in the friend zone with him. She is just about the last person whom I expected ready to declare her love for Sean. just did not buy it!

And maybe that's just it ... why this season is a bit off. Sean is NOT a good actor and these ladies are not actors either. Half the gals are auditioning for the next Bachelorette roles! I want to believe him when he says he only wants to get engaged once and when he says he loves you, he means it. Last week I felt great about his relationship with Cat. Now I am confused but will be definitely tuning in so maybe Fleiss has me right where he wants me. Cat does seem to be very genuine and I am finding Lindsay more credible and more "into" Sean.

I think the reason we got so much of Des this episode is because they are setting up for her demise next week.

All I know about this season is that the editors appear to be on crack. It's like a giant, jumbled mess with so much jumpy editing. Here's hoping with Tierra gone and only 4 girls left it will be better.

I don't think the editors knew what to do with Sean who I think had meaningful discussions all the time with whatever woman he was with.... so they've taken the easy way out and given us Tierra- knowing that Sean could laugh at himself (and apologize for being taken in by her). Unfortunately, we don't know as much as we should about the last four.... except maybe Ashley for whom the story is about the need to control her life and the need to let go.

I don't think so... don't forget we had Catharine say how it felt like she was on a 1/1 with Sean and Des.... so it wasn't just edited footage, but how the date really went down.

I agree .. They have to build the story line for her exit .. She initially peaked early because of the early 1n1 date

yep, and once that Bach Bubble popped, she was fine!

In support of Sean and the group date rose .. In his comments as to who and why he says .. "From the beginning" .. Lindseys attraction and interaction were beyond question .. From the beginning .. He was very unsure about Catherine and her interest .. Beyond the friend zone .. Again in his own words .. Until 2 episodes ago .. I have no doubt she was disappointed .. But I think this explains his reasoning .. Also that none if those three were in jeopardy to go home anyways

^^^^ yeah... that group date rose was more like the t-ball participation trophy that everyone gets. If he could have given out 3 roses, he would have.

Not sure where to post this. But since the US President speech is on from 9-10pm. Does that mean they will not show The Bachelor: Sean tells on and we will have to catch it online instead???
