Good! Cause that's where he had 1-on-1 with Catherine ... you know, his F1 where he hopefully started having real feelngs for her but then barely showed them (to us viewers, at least) in St. Croix

[b]From Aglaea: That must be so hard to hear for his fiance! I am so disappointed in the lack of a love story - Catherine gets so little screen time and he is saying that he can see himself marrying multiple women. I don't know how Catherine can feel special after all this.

My guess is that he is telling her...repeatedly!

I don't care what anyone thinks, but Catherine made a BIG error in judgement by sharing that story about her father knowing fully well it could be aired on tv. It is just WRONG to me and I question her motive!

This was made me feel depressed watching this episode. Sean was going by a process of elimination going through this. If his fantasies about a woman gets challenged, he moves on to another one. At least he is honest that he didnt see his wife or marrying anybody but went on to meet their families? For what? You were not sure youre gonna marry anyone, but you will ask permission from their parents to marry them? My heart goes out to Catherine, if she was really the F1.

Well unfortunately Cat can't talk in private with Sean without the cameras there. They are always there. So she was trying to tell him who he would meet if he went to Seattle, and explain why (in the simplest manner she could) her dad wouldn't be there. Everyone including Sean would wonder where her dad is. She didn't divulge this info on their first date, but now that he's meeting her fam and possible proposal in the future, it's important that he know. She even said she didn't want to spend a lot of time talking about it,

Jcrbil, you took the words right out of my mouth and said it all better than I ever could! I mentioned in the Catherine thread that part of what truly intrigued me about her being his spoiled F1 was the fact that they are so different 'on paper.' I also think this could explain the slow build to their relationship because while there may have been a definite initial attraction, both may have inwardly struggled about how these assumed 'differences' would ultimately play out in real life.

Even though tonight's episode was extremely odd editing-wise, it made me love Catherine just as a person even more! As much as is possible in an environment like this, she just comes across as a very genuine and compassionate person with a huge heart for those she loves. As an extremely private person myself, I really admired her for telling Sean about her father, knowing how important it was to share that insight into her family before him meeting them. I didn't see this as a ploy for pity on her part at all. I think it came with the territory of sharing everything (which she has said she wanted to do) with the person you're falling for, good and bad. I do think a part of her needed to know that Sean could accept this, knowing that he did come from a very traditional, intact family.

While we didn't get much Sean/Catherine time, when we did, I still saw 'sparkle' eyes (sorry, just had to do it!). And his voice does totally change when he talks to her!! It's subtle but it seriously does.

I will say though that I'm bummed Catherine didn't get the GDR! Especially after she made herself so vulnerable. I also feel like his rationale for giving it to Lindsay could easily have applied to Catherine. Is it foolish to hope there was a production-y reason why he didn't give it to Catherine? Sigh.
