One thing to throw out there: when Sean hands someone else a group date rose, we are never allowed to see Catherine's reaction. Is she disappointed? Confident because she knew how he felt and knew it was just more manipulation? No idea. It's telling she's never shown then. It's always someone else(usually Des). Smokescreen on top of an enigma. But what it means! No idea.

I noticed the same thing - in fact watched it a second time to see if I had missed something but nope the focus was on Des and seemed to be purposely off Catherine. Odd.

For kicks, I went back to the RC lineups for the past few seasons, something Bloomers used to do, and the one thing that I remember her for sure saying was that the F1 was most of the time on the outside of the lineup, often separated from the others by the person being eliminated. The opposite end of the line is usually the F2 or F3. Excluding Courtney and Vienna, that holds true for both Bach and Bette.

At least at this point in the season, Cat wasn't F1. Dez was it, or Lindsay if that pattern holds any weight.

I think it just adds some support to the idea that Sean may not have known his F1 yet.

I really do not understand the editing this season. If RS is right and Catherine is the F1, her reaction tonight to Lesley's leaving doesn't make any sense. Do we even know if that little clip was from the same episode or filmed from another one? I did not look too closely at the dress or her hair...was there any difference in what she was wearing at the rose ceremony than in that clip?

She was wearing the same thing that she wore tonight.

She was wearing the same dress she had on at the rose ceremony tonight. This whole season is odd to me

Nope, it was a real time PI. Same dress and hair. Plus that emotion is hard to fake.

Doc, thanks for that. Bloomers was a good teacher-I miss her.

I agree. I kept on looking for the connection, not just with Gaya and Sean, but also with Lindsay or with Dez. I believe the 1 on 1'a were setup to see if there is more to the connections he made earlier, among the three 1on1a - IMHO if Tierra didn't go home AshLee would have. The group date gals- he was sure they were in the F4. So, I was looking for the signs he was falling in love with someone, not even Cat at this point. I believe he was still open at this point to fall in love with one of the three. So perhaps it is really not that clear to him or maybe it is still hidden!

But with Catherine, she's the only one he's being real with, being himself. The other ones, it's like he's just going through the motion with them. All I see is fakeness going on. He's just trying to get through the show.

Okay...maybe I'm just tired or too slow for this show..but, I take back what I said. Now I understand what Catherine was talking about. From Catherine's point of view, she believes that her and Lesley have a lot in common and that Sean is mostly likely attracted to both of them. Obviously, she expects Lesley to stay and someone else not get the rose. When it's Lesley, now she starts questioning what Sean "wants" because, the others are not like the two of them. So now she's second guessing her relationship with Sean. Hope this makes sense.

And I think other girls thought that too, as I noticed in Sarah's interview last week she said something about Catherine, but she also said that she always thought him and Lesley had a great connection, and almost stopper herself as if she was going to say I was surprised she went home next or something, because I was assuming she knows the spoiler.

From the interactions to me it was obvious that Lesley was in the friend zone, especially when she was the one he asked initially about Tierra.

But I think girls thought that she was a frontrunner, as they weren't privy to their one-on-one time add in she got two one-on-one dates and the last group date rose...

I think at this point Sean was tired. He looked tired to me. In his tweets he said he was in a car accident on the island and the day of the group date... the early sunrise, he didn't get any sleep.
