My gut says that Sean is the next Bach. BUT I want it to be Arie.

Arie is still heartbroken over Emily. His tweet basically was very telling about his dinner with Ben. They both had their hearts broken (Ashley & Emily) Maybe Ben was telling Arie time heals all wounds. IMO Arie's wounds are still raw and all the media about Emily & Jef is salt in the wounds. If she REALLY was the love of his life as Arie said then that takes a LONG time to get over not just a few months.

Hi Goodgal, you could be right, and we really don't know possitively, but my gut instinct is that he has moved on in a healthy manner. I did and do believe he fell in love, and had a lot to move on from, but he seems excited about life and looks like he is having a great time. So I hope I am right, but not for my ego but for Arie's sake!! :)

I think Arie is ready to go as the Bachelor. Ben was the next Bachelor after Ashley's season, so this is the same gap for Arie. I just think it's odd that Ben and Arie are spending time together because Arie really hasn't seemed that interested in hanging out with anyone in the Bach Nation besides the few guys he liked from his season. It's a race weekend and his friends are at the track. This is to say, I don't think it was Arie's idea to meet up with Ben. I think that was arranged by the producers. And Arie has said several things in interviews that have led me to believe that he realizes that he fell in love inside the bubble and it maybe wasn't all he thought it was.

If Fleiss and the network really didn't make a decision today, then I think they're seriously considering Lochte and waiting to see if they can work out a deal. But the longer Fleiss waits the more risk he takes that he could lose Sean or Arie along the way. Arie could blow off the Petit LeMans, but if he has any other races scheduled during that time, he won't blow off two or three chances to drive. And with all the women interested in Sean, there's a good chance he could meet someone and take himself out of the running -- leaving Fleiss with no one. Wouldn't that be funny -- and well-deserved.

Great Post! I agree with it overall, and would love to see MF loose both Arie and Sean due to his stupid games and indecision. I think it would be hilarious! Especially if Sean and Arie were happy with what they were doing.

It would be a shame if the network tried to force Lochte on the show. I just see him as a joke. He's more about hanging out in Vegas & elsewhere with a ton of young women. I know most of the Bachelors haven't been ready for a relationship but this is taking it far beyond any of them. Oh well not worrying about it. If Arie's meant to be TB he'll be it.

Apparently Fleiss had a meeting with network executives yesterday and no decision was made on who they were going to select. There's a tweet by the Forum Administrator around here somewhere, I think in the B17 tweets thread.

I think that Arie loves racing more than anything. But honestly lets be real. Did any of you know him before this show? DId anyone who loves him now care about car racing? In this short amount of time this guy has a following that is unbelievable. And it is all due to the show. We all know that once the next season airs you are history . Yes people follow you on twitter and FB but the main focus is on the new couple. There is no way Arie is ready for this to go away anytime soon. And as much as he loves racing he is also involved in broadcasting and he needs as much publicity as possible. Believe me if they offer this gig to him he will not say no. It is just getting them to offer it to him. For a F2 he has really been in the spotlight a lot and much of it on his own doing. Now meeting with Ben and commiserating is taking it to another level. He just keeps putting himself back into the show. And all while Emily and Jef are getting bad publicity. This guy knows what he is doing and he is liking it a lot. Part of me also feels that ABC has something to do with it and it gives me hope he may be the next bachelor.Cant imagine anyone else at this point and especially not Lochte. And after the whole Prince Harry thing I am sure his people do not want him anywhere near this show and any bad light it may shine on him.
