The Bachelor 17 - Speculation/Spoilers - Discussion

I think BG's original spoiler was Sean was the bachelor. She hasn't confirmed Arie since she retracted after hearing from one source that is not for certain. A lot of things pointing to Arie right now. Regardless of any spoilers, it appears that Sean has moved on and has lots of plans to be involved with charities for the time being.

Anywho...I'm wondering how many of the girls were cast prior to the final decision being made? And if they were cast with an eye toward Roberto, Sean or Arie or if not knowing, they just cast a wide and pretty net?

Maybe he has been hesitant so they have been going back and forth

Maybe MF is just trying to keep the interest high by leaking other names. Lochte was out of left field I thought

I do think they were interested in getting Roberto simply because he's a) a known quantity and b) the pending lawsuit. Given that it now seems as though Roberto is not interested I believe they are going back to their original choice of Arie (perhaps he's balking a bit because they left him hanging when Roberto entered the picture).

I don't like the way Sean kisses onscreen so I'm okay with him not being the Bachelor. I like him otherwise but yes, I am that shallow in my preferences for the Bachelor. Kissing is an important thing on this show, clearly.

This is the crux of the problem. It would appear that some people want to argue about anything. I just came on here to catch up and it's starting all over again.

It would be nice if we could just be polite and stop going after people for saying this or that. I think Dr. Hottie was speaking in a reasonable and respectful way. But this is what happens on any thread. A few have to find a reason to start going after people. Even locking all those thread this morning hasn't sent a strong enough message, apparently.

I hope there's a good balance between the "characters" Fleiss likes to include and some quality girls. And I suspect there are going to be some high adrenaline dates!

There had better be quality girls for Arie. They certainly went out of their way for Emily, I hope they have the same consideration for Arie. And then yes throw in a few headcases for fun and entertainment.
Lochte- Ben Stiller should do a Lochte bachelor parody. Actually it could be an incredibly funny season- if you took it that way and didn't get serious about it.
I am thinking Neil Lane needs a Lochte so he doesn't have to keep forking out money for these rings. JASH is coming up to the keeping the ring deadline. And then you have the maybes ben/court, JEM..

IMO, I would rather see Sean kissing a girl then Arie kissing a girl. I love, love Arie and his kissing is the only thing that I didn't like. To me, with Arie, it seemed like you would need to wipe your face after being kissed by him. Maybe just the way they edited it??

There was also some speculation that the delay might have to do with managing him being TB in addition to his racing career, which he seems to be resurrecting. Issues like his sponsors maybe having to view TB contract, trying to get certain concessions (for instance if he stays in the October race), etc. It might have gotten a little more complicated than a standard offer.

I can't read through everything and don't want to read squabbles, but from skimming it seems like people think Arie is next bachelor because of BlondieGal and filming in Scottsdale. Woo hoo if this is the case! Def TeamArie for next Bachelor.

Yeah but Sean has lizard tongue kissing at times. Both are great wall kissers though.

I am just trying to get the latest news. It would appear that there is still nothing official about the next bachelor. That was mainly what I was interested in finding out.

But Roberto filling the racial diversity gap is lame.. (not you- but MF). I think to fill that gap they need to go african american. Surely they can find some big hunky fella. :Smiley:
