Wasn't Arie going to make some announcement yesterday? Did that ever happen?

He posted (on FB I think) that he had some good news, but I don't think he indicated he was ready to share. There was some back and forth about whether it was TB or racing related. The consensus was that if it were TB related, he'd have to wait until the official announcement was made before saying anything.

Actually, I am thinking if he is the bach, maybe he will get off lightly. Since as F2 they did their digging and publishing then??? Hoping so...

I mean seriously wouldn;t it be fun if Fleiss had Arie in a white tux with disco ball and had the girls dress for disco and best moves won a date..ok well hopefully we will know soon enough if it is Arie! I think Lockte would be so boring. Sean I'd love too!

Arie looks a lot like him when he was younger, The majority of Dutchies here have NO rhythm whatsoever though.. I hope it's different with Arie!! :dancing peg:

In past seasons we used to get some glimpses of the casting process. Has this stopped recently. (We really, really need some stuff to talk/sleuth about).

Anywho...I'm wondering how many of the girls were cast prior to the final decision being made? And if they were cast with an eye toward Roberto, Sean or Arie or if not knowing, they just cast a wide and pretty net?

I still believe that Arie has been tptb choice for the next Bachelor all along so, I'm thinking that the girls who have been cast were done so with him in mind.

I think Arie has been it from day 1. Number 1 he is so dang popular. Number 2 he has great screen presence they know they will get a good season out of him. 3. BG had info a long time ago and then it was retracted and now it is back. It just tells me he has probably been their primary.
Maybe he has been hesitant so they have been going back and forth
or
Maybe MF is just trying to keep the interest high by leaking other names. Lochte was out of left field I thought

I agree, no Lockte! Sean or Arie would be good. My first choice would be Roberto but I guess that is not an option anymore?? :greenman:

I hope there's a good balance between the "characters" Fleiss likes to include and some quality girls. And I suspect there are going to be some high adrenaline dates!

Hmmm, maybe they have him set up for DWTS first - get the moves and grooves down and then The Bach.
Or they could bring Chris B back to help teach Arie some dance moves. Their is no emote for cringe..
