Pretty sure I'd skip the season or it would make me stop watching the show for good! Especially if he acted like he as on BP3! But that's JMO...

But I thought he was a "grown ass man". What was he doing in the F4 if he was unable to "really commit to a woman". He is beyond annoying. Emily dodged a bullet here big time if she was ever even considering him. Would have muuucccchhhh rather seen John Wolfe for a bit longer.

with your whole post! Did you see Wolf's tweets about the "grown ass man" comments last night, in the few live tweets he did while watching BP3? And I would have most definitely enjoyed seeing Wolf a little longer, instead of Chris! The whole interview about his behavior on BP3 had me but when I got to the would you do the bach question... :puke: For some reason, the producers seem to love him so they might actually consider it, but can't see how they'd think ratings would be good after all the flack he's getting now.

I think they only love Chris in a "trainwreck" sort of way, because he IS coming across as the perfect villain for BP, but I seriously doubt that translates at all to being even a possible consideration for The Bachelor now or ever. That ship sailed a long time ago, IMO. And it's clear from the very cut throat and self centered way he is playing the game on BP that despite the different venue, he treated his stint on Emily's show not very differently, even if he thought he did. Just the fact that he felt that telling Emily he loved her was all that was needed in order for her to choose him told me that. The guy thinks he's the center of the universe. Hopefully, he'll grow out of that attitude as he matures, but right now, emotionally, he's a very young 25.

I'd say Emily dodged a bullet, but I seriously doubt she gave him much consideration as a possible choice once they had their first date. Pretty sure she just dragged him along all the way to F4 because she needed another body.

Has RS given any reason why he so sure Ari won't be the bachelor or is he just saying it?

I haven't seen any reasons, but then, I don't really follow RS. Makes me wonder if there is a rumor out there about Arie turning it down or it being offered to one of the others guys and RS is just being cautious because of who he heard it from.


On another note, have we had any more updates from Blondie? Does she have any new info for us?

He did give some reasons on one of his video blogs, but anyone who reads these boards knows they aren't really a factor.
1) Arie travels too much for his work to settle down (he travels every other weekend in the summer, 15 out of 52 weekends)
2) He's too busy playing the field (he's not a serial dater and never has been, he's had at least three or four LTRs)
3) He only went on the show for publicity (most of us believe he had genuine feelings for Emily)

I think he formulated these ideas about Arie after talking to some of Arie's ex-friends about Arie's dating habits after Cassie Harshman dumped him. Of course, they bad-mouthed Arie. But RS finds it easy to believe that stuff and to discount the other good stuff that Arie's real friends have said. From everything that I've seen on the show, on Facebook, on Twitter, in interviews, Arie, like Sean and Jef, is just a genuinely nice guy. For some reason RS just really wants to hate Arie and uses any excuse to do it.

If RS has any other reasons for this hate, he's not revealing them. I don't think he's holding back any big secrets or revelations. RS blabbed about Cassie H's miscarriage, which I thought was pretty awful since it was never revealed on the show. Since he was so certain Arie would never be the Bachelor, he would have revealed any other secrets he knew before the show was over. I think RS believes that he "knows" who Arie is, but it's just some stereotype of a playboy racecar driver that he's imagined in his mind. People have brought this up on the blogs and in letters to him, but he blows them off, so he's obviously not interested in hearing why he's wrong.

Arie has said that he'd be flattered to be considered, his father has said that he'd do it, so I don't think that any of the above factors are playing into this from Arie's point of view. It will be interesting to see how much hate RS spews if Arie does become the Bachelor.

Oh, and RS also went on about Arie dating girls in their early 20s and how he (RS) would never ever do that. I suspect RS doesn't date much because he's a cynical troll who thinks he's hot stuff. But he's also 37 and Arie is 30. RS shouldn't be dating 22 year old girls, not that 22 year old girls would be interested in him.

Oh, and RS also went on about Arie dating girls in their early 20s and how he (RS) would never ever do that.

Thanks for catching me up on the RS hating on Arie.....I really think Sean, Roberto and Arie are great choices. Now I am pulling mre for Arie just because it might cause RS to stoke out.

Actually, I went back and looked. He said at 30, Arie was a grown man and shouldn't be dating 22 year old women. The RS said that when he was 30, he didn't even know any women who were 22. Yeah, right. That doesn't say you wouldn't have jumped at the chance to date a 22 year old. No 22 year old wanted to come near you, that's why you didn't know any.

...Right, because being a 37yo immature, sexist blogger who trashes people on reality shows and loves being an attention-wh*re is so moral and upstanding? RS has enough reason to say for absolute certain it's not Arie. How solid is this info about Roberto's supposed girlfriend? I don't know, I think it's Sean and it's been a done deal for a while.

I'm not sure I understand you. Are you saying that you know that RS has insider information?

All I've seen RS state is what was posted about his video blog.

He did give some reasons on one of his video blogs, but anyone who reads these boards knows they aren't really a factor.

That was my question also. Hard to say what RS actually has. Probably not much.

If you're trusting that RS knows what he's talking about then he said he was 100 percent sure it was Roberto, not Sean, who was the next Bachelor. Until yesterday, he was still sure it was Roberto, not Sean. Now, he's qualified it by saying if it isn't Roberto, then it will be Sean. And if and when we find out Sean turned them down (which I think his tweet might indicate), suddenly RS will take his third swipe at the ball and say if it isn't Sean, it's Arie. And then he'll convince us that he knew it was Arie all along, but he was the victim of some scurrilous misinformation. Because when he's wrong, he never owns up to it.

I think Arie attending the Pump Foundation dinner is telling, esp since Ali and Roberto attended a few years ago. If the ticket from that dinner had come from any other source besides ABC, he would have tweeted about it ahead of time or thanked the source of the ticket afterwards. It came from ABC. Now, why send a guy who isn't interested in stick and ball sports when you have a guy like Sean who played D1 football and is a huge sports fan? I think Arie was in town that day to talk about doing the show. I think, after Sean's meeting was leaked, they had their meeting with Arie outside the office and whoever is feeding info to RS wasn't privy to that. RS still thinks it's Sean because Sean was the last one seen having a meeting.

I think BlondieGal has given us the same info. First it was Roberto, then Roberto and Sean and now all three are under consideration.
