Doug was at the charity event last night. He was looking good - all dressed in black. He was auctioned off at $3000 - said he would take his shirt off (prompted by the emcee) for $4000. Was a very good sport - would not confirm about being on the Bachelorette but talked in terms of there being a rumor that he would soon be seen on ABC. Said he had been gone for awhile but was glad to be home. Someone in the audience apparently accused him of two-timing - I guess Emily. Emcee chimed in that it was all for charity.

The Wine Women & Shoes event - in Seattle, the proceeds went to a children's mental health inpatient facility.

I didn't get any hint of that from any of Doug's remarks. I think he got involved with the event because one of his good friends is President/Chair of one of the sponsoring organizations and because the proceeds went to a children's agency. He did mention that he was a single parent.
