I'm so looking forward to episode 1 and seeing her interact with Doug. Too bad their connection fizzled at some point.

I like how Chris Harrison describes their relationship as 'sweet' in the 5 to watch. We already know a little bit about why it didn't work out from Wetpaint, but I want to see it play out. He's attending the Wine, Women, and Shoes event tonight, so I hope there are some pictures from it!! Hugesmile

Isn't it strange that TPTB allow him to attend an event before the taping of the show ended? Obviously he's not F2, or F3 if he's home and doing events. Most fans know the show is still filming. This is like the season of the weird, and I was shocked to see this, especially considering he got the FIR and will probably be a fan favorite. Wonder why TPTB didn't make him wait til filming ended, when they all go home, (except the F1 and b'lette stay for a few extra days alone.) scratch

He was committed to this charity event before filming and since it is happening in the emote wilderness of Seattle they probably figured no one would notice. He may have simply done it on his own without permission .... what are they going to do to him, sue him?

Unless he goes in and shamelessly promotes himself as on the upcoming season of the Bachelorette ( without having permission of the producers), what harm is there in him appearing in a pre-scheduled event? Most people won't know of his connection anyway if the events promoters don't broadcast it. Maybe he tells them up front to make no mention of it.

I love Doug , he and Ryan were my F2 picks for Emily. I really do not see a life partner among Emily's F3 guys. She may pick an F1 but.... I have a feeling it will lead to heartache and break up again. I hope I am wrong, but all is not lost, there is still hope because Doug and Ryan are still available .... Knock , knock, Emily. Hugesmile

I don't see it lasting with Arie or Jef, maybe Sean though, who knows...love can be a funny thing.
