Sorry, but that Lochte guy just looks stupid to me. I'm not sure I could watch a whole season of him looking and sounding stupid.

I don't think it's worth worrying who's more ready for marriage because it's almost a certainty that it's not going to happen. I guess there's still hope for Ben but as noted the Bachelors aren't all that good at getting married and especially not with their f1. The women are better but not by a lot.

Jen was horrible - and clearly no where near ready to do it. Had her season taken place a year after it did, I suspect it would've been a better season - neither here nor there since she's happily married with children.

I dont' care who the leads are, F1s, F2s, F3s, F6s (Jake) - I just want to be entertained. I dont' watch this show to see a lovestory - I watch it for the trainwreck that it is. Opinions are subjective and depending on who one may be rooting for, there's almost always an arguement that a love story exists with that person.

Lochte had not been contacted as of yesterday. He's not in the running. I think Roberto, Sean and Arie would have to turn it down before they would consider him at this point.

From a ratings standpoint, Lochte would be more of the draw than those 3 guys combined. He's a ridiculous, sometimes hilarious dope who sometimes seems like a decent guy, sometimes like a d-bag. He'd be entertainment gold. But, I agree he's not in the running. He's just throwing his name out there for headlines, and I think that it if ever got to the point of negotiation, the contract stipulations would result in him turning it down. He'll have bigger, better, and more lucrative offers.

I think Roberto and Sean are better equipped to handle TPTB's shenanigans than Arie. I really do think it'd be a bad idea for Arie to sign on so if it's true that he's a long shot, I for one am very pleased. It's not that I want Roberto or Sean to be exposed to TPTB's shenanigans, but I feel like they have more of a chance of overcoming them.

OH my...the happy hipster couple is fading fast! Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems Ali's and, to a smaller degree, Ashley's face was front and center on many of the mags during the airing of their respective seasons....more so than M's. It surprised me that M wasn't on more of the mag fronts!

Why do you think Sean & Roberto would handle it better than Arie? Do you think they'd be more guarded and less likely to throw themselves into it? To me that's one of the most compelling thing about Arie being the Bachelor (other than his eyes, kissing, the wall, etc of course).

Yeah...guess you could phrase it as 'guarded, emotional maturity'....truly like Arie, but at times he appeared immature to me (sharing his experiences w/Emily with the guys and the giddyness when Ryan left).
