The Golden Bachelorette - Joan Vassos - Episodes - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

From the MTA who do you think the next bachelor will be.

I know folks think it could be Pascal or Charles. I don't think Charles would be able to carry the show any better than Joan has (and I don't think she's been great). And, both men have very thick accents that will make it difficult for the audience to stay connected. JMO.

I think they could go outside of the season.

Like I mention in my previous post, I do think it can be Guy or Pascal.  I could see the appeal that they could both bring to the show.  Maybe Pascal has a slight advantage over Guy. They can go with a narrative that is other then the widower which they have now done with Joan and Gerry.

@luvstx These 90 minute episodes are too short. Give us 90 minutes of the young ones but let us enjoy every minute of the mature casts!

Here we go. We start with the live audience. A couple of last season people in the audience along with the next bachelor Grant.

We pick up with Joan being upset with Pascal leaving and her pal Nancy comes to talk her off the "not lovable" ledge. I'm bored already.

Bora Bora is gorgeous.

Chock is first to meet the family.

It's like a pi**ing match between Chock and her son. Chock deliberately kisses Joan. Look I can kiss your mom, because she loves me so much. Meanwhile, son is annoying me as well with his familial possessiveness. Her daughter seems ok.

Before the LCD, Chock feels everything went so well with the family. They chat. He gives her a gift...a key to go pick out a place in NY city? IMO he is so pushy. He is overwhelming her. I never trust people who are so pushy, but she loves it. He keeps saying he loves her...she doesn't say anything back because she want to only say it to the person she picks...but it's like he is trying to guilt her into saying it back. Yuck.

Poor Guy gets a downpour for his MTF. He is more measured in his feelings and while he is writing in his journal, Joan has decided that yesterday was everything she wanted and she has found love.
She walks to poor Guy's room to dump him. He is so happy to see her, before she tries to spare him because she cares so much for him. He is totally heartbroken and in tears.

Yeah, Joan is a such a downer. This whole season. Ugh.

On a positive note...Guy is now well set up to be the next golden bachelor. Broken hearted F2, ready to find love. I feel so bad for him.

Joan and Guy meet up on stage. A total waste of time. I don't even remember what they said and I just watched it.

Off to the proposal. OMG...I tuned out for this too. They sail off into the sunset. That did look nice.

Can’t say I loved the Finale. Edited inside out. Chocks meet the family and last chance date before any Guy time. Felt bad for Guy. But they did make Chock look better tonight.

Didn’t think chock was as demonstrative towards Joan on the couch as I would have expected.

all in all not my favorite season.

Joan and Chock on the stage. This is the most animated she has been all season. They do look happy. They had 4 or 5 SHVs and they sort of showed the photos...side ways so you couldn't get a good look at them. Odd. They get a Disney trip with both families. Talk about cross promotion. No doubt we will get lots of press of that. Thankfully, there is no bugging them about their wedding plans. Did you know that Chock is crazy about Joan?

Grant! Looking mighty fine...and he is ready. Preview of his season.

I hope he was ready for the tears.

Is it the most dramatic season ever???

Thanks for the recap. I think I'll wait and watch with some fast forwarding tomorrow. I loved most of the guys from this season but the love story bored me. I have a free trial of Paramount + so am watching the boy band special instead.

Well I was watching/listening on my DirectTV app while watching hockey at the same time so I wasn't paying attention to most of it but it didn't seem like Joan's family cared for Chock? idk but good for Joan for letting Guy go early if she didn't feel it. The proposal was ok I guess.

Good luck to J&C do I think it will work idk maybe as long as they have a long engagement!
