I actually think the fact that he may have dated a lot great & he's able to have a committed relationship (2.5yrs) wand what about before he turned 22. I think he would know more than a lot of guys what qualities he's looking forward to in a relationship.

But I've now decided I don't want him to be F1...I want to see him as the bachelor so we could get 2 months on our TV screens where its all about JP.

This is very interesting. He also told Ashley at the m&G that the dating scene was stale in nyc. And yes, that was his vo in the fiji footage.

Not sure who that voice over is. I was only talking about his promo when he said "dating 12 years in NYC and gettin MY heart broken". If his breakup was "mostly me" as he said, the girls' heart would be broken and not his so much? Or he saw the girl as not being in love and broke it off, so it did break his heart? Can be taken several ways imo, and not necessarily pointing to him being a player as some have suggested.

Oh, there's a story here all right. He basically blames "mostly me"... but that is not the same as "always". Apparently it happened and he doesn't want to discuss it yet. Ashley obviously has him on the front burner, since she was quick to ask if he would "break me". These lines are a jumbled mess: "You take a leap of faith. You get hurt. But time heals all and you just move on and things get put into perspective and eventually you meet an amazing girl and things change…" Doesn't sound like he just read it in a book... although it does advance the show's "storyline" (i.e. Ashley getting over Bentley).

On another note...

Just so we are all straight here:

Ryan P: I hope to finally find love in the blue waters of Fiji.
JP: Fiji would be the perfect ending to my love story. My only fear is getting hurt again.

Just went back and listened again. Def JP who say the perfect ending part but then I'm not sure who says their only fear is getting hurt again. It could be JP but sounds a little different to me. hmmm
