Well said. I don't think it's weird he's been single for so long either. It would be weird if he played a bunch of women or had an 8 year long drama-filled on and off again thing but if he was just dating around and never fell in love? I think it's fine. He's either met his match on the show or now that he's everyone's favorite guy, he'll meet her soon.

Given his line of work probably doesn't help either

I don't think it's weird either, I have a lot of single male friends who drift in and out of relationships, though usually they do last longer than 2-3 months. I was just trying to figure out why Ash had a great date with JP and the next day she was saying she used to think her husband was in the room but now that Bentley is gone she feels alone. Surrounded by a dozen single men who would love to date her. no no

So maybe JP's dating history told her to hold back a little and not automatically place him in the position Bentley vacated, until she got to know JP better. Just a thought!

Being able to snuggle and fall asleep in his arms does say a lot about how comfortable she feels with him, it's a very good sign. If he's her F1 she would have liked to say a lot more about the date but she has to keep some things quiet for now. Smiley

That was absolutely TERRIBLE to hear that she feels alone without Bentley. TERRIBLE. I have no idea what was going on through her head at that moment but hopefully she's all healed and gotten a clue. hmmm

As for the bold, I'm guessing that's their obstacle. She's just been left once by the man she thought was going to be her F1 and hubby and now she's falling for yet another potential heartbreaker? It was so freaking sad when she asked him in a little girl voice, mouth full of orange, et. al., how she can be sure that he's not going to leave her. So I'm assuming they need to work through that now.

Agree...and even for CH to be saying now that Ashley's mood and the funk that she was in over the next few weeks affected the show. A few weeks after he left and they are almost at the HTDs!!! I 100% believe Ashley S. when she says that Ashley learned from this experience, but man. I'm really curious to see what she has to say tonight on JKL.

Well what he said to Ashley about it being him who broke the 2 1/2 yr romance conflicts with what he says in his promo.
"Dating 12 yrs. in NYC and getting my heartbroken". ??

Maybe he didn't want the embarrasment on National TV of saying the girl broke it off and broke his heart, so he just glazed over it saying "mostly me" and moved from the subject? no idea

"mostly me" can be taken alot of ways. Maybe he was not feeling it from the girl or thought she was not really in love, so he broke it off. Lots of scenarios beside him just dating and breaking off in a player like manner.

Remember Kiptyn's storyline was that he had never been dumped, but he explained to Jill that even if you were the one that ended the relationship, you could still be broken hearted. Maybe the same applies here.
