When asked whether he believes "The Bachelorette" will actually become engaged with any of the contestants, Jeff said he saw genuine chemistry between Ashley and J.P. -- a 34-year-old construction manager from New York. -- that could result in a true love connection.

He thinks Ashley might find love: While Medolla wasn’t the right guy, he isn’t ruling out that Ashley found the one for her on the show. “I think maybe she’ll end up engaged. It’s hard to say. There were a few guys sincerely into her. [Like] JP seemed like a nice guy. I didn’t talk to him tons. But the reception to me was never real warm.”

Lol...guess the reception from JP wasn't warm ~ don't think JP is into masks on grown freaky guys. :P

IMO he has a few flaws, but they are keeping his edit clean and focused on his connection with Ashley.

Thanks. He's so out there everywhere now as the F1, it's getting unnerving ~ would MF allow the F1 to be soooo obvious this early on? If so, this is a first for him and this show. I think everyone who watches, spoiled or not, think JP will be/could be F1. It's so unlike the evil one Fleiss to allow that. But maybe it's to counteract all the negativity and bad taste left in the viewers' mouths from the Bentley drama.

I think this is exactly what's happening. It appears that ABC is taking a ton of heat for having treated Ashley so badly -- people are MAD. But if it's out there that she picked somebody (the fan favourite, no less) and they're engaged and happy, well, then, it all turned out for the best, didn't it? (Whatever, Fleiss. You still suck.)

Also, JP is so front-and-centre right now because his date immediately followed the Bentley drama. Not to say that it wasn't an amazing date (one article described it as "flawless"), but I think people fell in love with him because he was so wonderful and kind and understanding when Ashley was such a basket case. If it had been a regular date on a regular day, it might not have drawn quite so much attention.

Seriously. On the one hand JP "can't" be F1 because his edit is too perfect and flawless and remarkable. OTOH, he "can't" be F1 because he's a heartbreaker who leaves the ladies wanting more and that's all wrong for Ash.

When I read your comment, it reminded me of what Ash said in her blog about the fortune cookie mentioning patience, and that they'd talked about that on another occasion previously...... I wonder if that bit about patience was added to his bio as an inside joke to Ashley?? ya never know....
