I noticed something cute that Ashley might have slipped into her playlist as a clue. One of the songs is Hall & Oates "You Make My Dreams Come True." That song makes me think of this very popular scene from 500 Days of Summer, starring one Joseph Gordon Levitt:

I love it!!! Nice call...her playlist is pretty modern (Mumford & Sons, Lady Antebellum, Nicki Minaj, BEP, Adele) so for that song to make it in there is really interesting!

I forgot to say that DeAnna's playlist on the ABC Bette site had a major clue during her season, the #1 song was "Jesse's Girl"

Last night I watched JP's hometown intro again, it's worth seeing if you don't remember it from the first episode -- he's the 2nd intro, skip past Ryan if you'd like:

He says he's been dating in NY for 12 years, tired of having his heart broken, he's Ready. Then at the end he says if he meets the right woman there isn't anything he wouldn't do for her. Aww. (Ben F's intro later in this same video is good too, I LOVE her F2)

I remember JP's intro...towards the end he is shopping by himself and he says what you posted. I remember thinking, oh how sweet!

I don't think so, check out the random people that account is following. Doesn't seem to match up with a 34 yr old construction manager in NY?

I just checked out the comments section over on RS's most recent post (where he revealed JP as F1) and daaaaaamn, there is a MASSIVE amount of JP love over there, almost every single comment! That is a tough crowd too, normally the comments are snarky and cynical. Ash will get some backlash and hate when she acts like an idiot over Bentley, but if JP really is F1 then I think she's going to come out of this show with a ton of public support. We love our leads when they choose correctly -- according to us. ;)

My husband - who is middle-aged too - does occasional 50 and 100 mile bike rides for a hobby. ( There are big bike clubs everywhere.) I have seen every one of Lance Armstrong's 7 Tour De France wins on the TV start to finish complete with interviews and commercials. When I see this picture, it is almost like looking at Lance's younger brother.

I did some random twitter searches too and he is the overwhelming favourite - sexy was a common word used.

All I have to say is -- personality is everything. Compare all the recent JP love to the initial reactions when the bio photos came out. I believe there were mentions of orange jumpsuits and prison breaks. Now that we've seen him in action he has a smile that seems to start with his eyes and lights up his whole face. And his confident swagger and overall manly demeanor is very sexy. Go figure.

That's why I dont' understand how folks can choose a favourite from a bio pic. Especially those awful ABC pics - they never do anyone justice. I much prefer waiting to see how they behave and how they interact with the lead.
