I think some of the first comments in his thread before we knew he was in the F4 was he will not make it past the first night and he looks like someone who was on an episode of Prison Break.

In all fairness to some and myself the outfit he choose to wear in his promo picture on ABC.com along with the shaved head helped form that opinion.

Whoops guess we were wrong. It also helps that he and Ashley are adorable together and he likes her a lot.

Hmmm ... I wonder if we'll be seeing any of these traits from JP this season. So far, I haven't seen any of them.

We don’t know a lot of about the final guy, which is probably a good sign for Ashley. He doesn’t have any arrests (that we know of), or previous attempts to be famous under his belt, so he might just be a regular, down-to-earth guy who would make a great mate.

I was so wrong in my initial thoughts of JP, and I have done a complete 360 on JP, now that I see his adorable personality, and think they are pefect together. His shyness, yet confidence, is heart melting to watch. Even though I still wish his hair was a tad longer, he's very sexy and cute. i love u

His abc picture is just awful and it really looks nothing like him. They should let someone else do the pictures, heck I could take them with my iPhone and do a better job! I can def say that JP will have his patience tested Monday night. If he can make it through Monday then he has patience beyond my understanding.

I think JP is strong enough, he's 34 and not a kid. I also think men and women are different in how they'd handle this. Emily had the typical reaction watching Brad with Chantal and Ashley and anyone else she was insecure over -- not the same situation as Ashley/Bentley, but it could inspire the same feelings of doubt and insecurity. I think a lot of men would be more like, "wtf? I wanna kick his ass!" because Bentley is being so disrespectful. Even the most non-violent types would feel protective, IMO. (I apologize for playing into stereotypes, obviously not all women would freak out and not all men would feel protective instead of insecure.)

Remember, JP knows this all went down before he even had his first date with her. I also think Ashley will take issue with how certain things are portrayed to make "good tv" and he'll hear her side of it too.

And I'm sure both Ashley and JP are seeing now how TPTB threw her under the bus, messed with her head and humiliated her on this show. It could actually bring them closer, if JP really loves her. As you said, his protectiveness and being pissed will all kick in at the same time and he will hold her closer to his heart and sympathize with all the crap they put her through. It all depends on the strength of their love. If it's real, they will make it, like Jolly did. If it's not, they won't, like JED. I sure hope they make it.

JP may feel like doing a major beatdown of Bentley, CH, MF and this show right now if he's seeing what we see this Monday night. As sweet as he is, he seems the type to not take crap from anyone, or his NYC swag is gonna kick in. :winkie:
