I so hope Steve's got it right this year or I'm going to be mightily disappointed.

Pegged JP from the second he stepped out of the limo - pre-spoilage. He just had that something. Is it just me is he the wounded love-child of Anderson Cooper and JG Levitt? Now that the spoilers are out - I think he is the only possible front runner BUT methinks Ashley is gonna blow it BIG time. Just have a feeling she is one of those chicks that doesn't want to belong to any club that would have her a member, IMHO.

Thanks for the warm welcome! This board is awesome -- all the usual investigation, dissection and over-analysis I love so much -- with no sniping. Everybody's so mellow and it's great.

Also great? JP, who actually used "Ashley and me" correctly in a sentence: "This night is about Ashley and me." So not only is he smoking hot and an actual grown-up man, but he speaks in grammatically correct sentences? Grab him and do not let go, Ash!

Thanks. He's so out there everywhere now as the F1, it's getting unnerving ~ would MF allow the F1 to be soooo obvious this early on? If so, this is a first for him and this show. I think everyone who watches, spoiled or not, think JP will be/could be F1. It's so unlike the evil one Fleiss to allow that. But maybe it's to counteract all the negativity and bad taste left in the viewers' mouths from the Bentley drama.

Here's the thing, all the media sites pretty much depend on RS for their spoilers. So far they have been more right than wrong (overall). And he's the one that got the scoop on JP. Guess thats why everyone is running with it.

Though it still boggles my mind that MF and co get contestants and their immediately circle to sign contracts etc. and that RS continues to get all the information on his lap scratch

I have wondered where RS got some of the pictures he did as they were filming this season. Would fans in Asia know who he was and therefore of all the websites that host images they decided to send those pics of Ashley and crew to him instead.

I know he has denied it being anyone from ABC that feeds him inside information and he has some fans around the world now, but it does make you wonder.

Really ? I thought he denied that Past Contestants are his source (Laughed at MF for saying that in an interview).

So he has said that it is not anyone from ABC ? Would that include TB crew as well ?

This does have shades of last season, with all the spoiler sites running with Chantal as F1, and Fleiss keeping mum. Major differences though are that last season, although Chantal was popular, Emily was always the clear favorite and choice for Brad among the unspoiled. It's a little early to tell, but I suspect that JP may be the fan favorite this season (he is in the media that's for sure). And an even bigger difference this season is the Bentley situation. Brad's season had nothing comparable, and I really think the debate this time might be more about whether Ashley picked JP or picked anyone at all, after Bentley broke her heart.
