I really feel like Sharleen added the tptb talking points in her recap today. Some of what she is saying do not jive.

She talked with NICK. IMO, there are TOO many podcasts ran by TPTB and we will never get the real truth due to that. Which sucks. Wish RS could get Madi on his show.

I feel like there's a lot we're missing from the last couple months. HA kind of filled in the blanks but I feel like we don't have Peter or Madi's side at all. They haven't posted anything on SM yet. I wonder if they're talking about how to handle things moving forward.

I didn’t watch this season but just following up on SM now and after reading Sharlene’s recap, I am actually shocked that folks think Peter and Madi are in a defined relationship. Good luck to them especially after reading on Reddit now that RS is claiming stories of Peter and women he was messing around with in the last 3 months are filtering in. Sorry to those that are rooting for a happy couple to come out of this but IMO better to set expectations really low.

I don’t think Barb was manipulated by producers last night, I don’t Peter’s engagement to HA was a result of producer manipulation, I don’t think HA was lying in her interviews about the timeline of her relationship with Peter or anything else, & I think Sharleen’s opinions are her own as they always are no matter how unpopular. Jmo.

100% on Sharlene, she is one of the most legit folks in this franchise IMO. I am also struggling with comments I have read such as, “I believe Madi because she is a Christian”. I am a Christian and I know none of us are perfect, we are still flawed humans that make mistakes just like everyone else....jmo.

I'm not on the train of Hannah Ann's timeline being the right one either. And, I have a feeling that Peter and Madi may just stay silent about it for at least awhile. Right now if they are serious about a relationship, they need to focus on them. Call Jason/Molly stat....

IMO there was an awful lot of producer manipulation this time around... both during filming from September to November and even post season. I mean, how often has CH hung out with the lead and their families on non-show occasions. He doesn't. But he does with the Weber family. And, I definitely think TPTB pulled the media appearances. They were not even on the schedule pre-finale. That is TPTB/ABC's doing. They are the ones that tell them where to go and what to do, that is not up to them. They were never going to do post-show press media. I wouldn't doubt that it was TPTB's decision to have them not do the BHH podcast since it is the show podcast. Hannah Ann is their willing messenger. Peter/Madi may not be.

I honestly really am not a fan of anybody from this season but the more producer influence against Peter especially and Madi as a side effect, the more I will stand behind them. No they were not always right in the decisions they made but I honestly believe that at least Madi was doing what she felt was right for her. I can honestly understand Peter more having seen his mother last night. His behavior throughout the season came into focus big time. Drama = love.

And, I think Hannah Ann saw that in him right away. She pulled the tears at such opportunistic times in order to extend her stay. I really don't think she loved him. Liked him, maybe but love. Nope. IMO she would have dumped him after her elevation to the top of the BN elite was gained.

I give credit to any contestant who would be hesitant in accepting a proposal before making sure they are the right person for them. Rather than professing their love followed by a break up as we have seen many times.

Madi is applauded in my books, by not buying into the bubble love IMHO.

I just hope Hannah Ann isn’t continuing the company line and making it seem like their breakup happened earlier than the last week of January, because it didn’t.

As for Peter and Madi, do they love or lust each other? To love someone is to truly understand and accept the person they are. Does Peter want to respect and support Madi's beliefs or is he hoping to change them? He went against her wishes in a very "intimate" way. Show format or not he knew she was his F1 yet he took an opportunity with HA. Madi was correct when she left because they have different values and lifestyle. What has changed in the past 3 months to make anything different?  It is very apparent that they are attracted to each other. I wish them the best and if they are meant to be it will all work out. To me it appears that Madison is in love with the "idea of who Peter could be" rather than looking at who he has presented himself to be.  I am sure that he probably does possess some qualities that she likes and admires, but to me those seem to be the only things that she is focusing on.  This notion of love conquers all is just a fairytale IMO, and it should never mean that someone needs to change who they are in order to be acceptable.  Can she truly accept him if he can not live up to her expectation that he be the strong spiritual leader that she so wants?  

What I have yet to hear from Madison is any clear and coherent conversations where she lays out the picture that she sees for a future she envisions with Peter.  What are the compromises that she is willing to make, and what compromises is she willing to accept from Peter?  She said that she is strong willed?  (That could be a trait that she actually shares with his mother and could explain them butting heads).  OTOH Peter is very indecisive and a people pleaser.  He wants to please and get along with everyone.  And I can not imagine him ever cutting his family out of his life completely.

And if they didn't already have a boatload of differences and issues to overcome, Peter went on national television and got engaged and unengaged.  And Madison didn't seem the least bit peeved about that?  However Peter did seem a little standoffish and did say how hurt he was by her leaving him high and dry at the last minute.  And to me that seemed both appropriate and the truth.

So what did change in the last 3 months?

Maybe the actual spoken words didn’t happen until the end of January but I am convinced she knew something was off prob a couple weeks after returning. Maybe Peter was uncertain and expressed to her his feelings were Madison. I am sure that was shocking for Hanna to hear but definitely one of the many red flags. I am guessing he reached out to Hanna B to discuss how she went about the breakup with Jed.

Still trying to make sense if last night and I have a feeling Peter and Madi will stay off of social
Media for awhile. I am sure Lori K or whoever represents them is guiding them both. I also want to say that peter and Madi prob had many conversations in the phone about feelings, mistakes etc and where to go now. I would also guess Peter confessed to Madi privately that the proposal to Hanna Ann was one
Of those mistakes. Jmo.
