Bachelor 24 - Peter Weber - Mar 9th & 10th Finale - Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #2

Late to the party here since I'm only just catching up on the finale.  

What a mess (and I haven't even got up to the bit with Pete's Mum yet )

Some things I have noted so far:  

Madi's body language towards Peter in Alice Springs was extremely defensive.  She had her hands up in front of her face/mouth pretty much the whole time she was talking to him, and when he tried to kiss her she pulled away and turned her face.  And not in a playful way - she looked really uncomfortable, IMO.







Also, despite the fact that she was making crying/snuffling noises, I saw not a single tear (and considering the amount of mascara she had caked on her lashes, if there were any moisture on her face, it would have shown, IMO).  She did not want to be there and looked like she couldn't stand him at that point IMO.



Pete on the other hand was grasping at every little sign she gave him that she might still be interested.  She was definitely the one he wanted IMO and watching him propose to Hannah Ann and pretend to be happy/excited was extremely awkward.  They were both acting, and not doing a convincing job of it IMO.



Oh and did anyone else notice Hannah's MASSIVELY DILATED pupils during their breakup scene?  They were like that inside the house, under full lighting, as well as outside, where you can actually see the reflection of a light in her eye.  Pete's pupils under the same light are nowhere near as dilated.  Just an observation.







Also, I thought it was amusing they made such a big show of face timing Hannah considering that Tik Tok video doing the rounds earlier in the season.  Wouldn't be surprised if she actually WAS face timing Pete and waiting for someone to notice, as a red herring.  I get the feeling she would do anything TPTB asked of her.

@Bobette I did notice HA pupils...either medication or ? Not a normal inside dilation I would think?
As far as Madison, I think it’s fair to say that Madison was very intent in getting that conversation focused on the issues, and she knows Peter has a way to become physical to just avoid going deeper, AND as a way to affirm feelings. I did see her before and after being affectionate but at the times when she is concentrating on an issue, it’s not time to get physical for her. That is my perception anyway. Also, I did see her eyes get foggy and she sniffled, but did not full on bring the waterworks like others did or would. I didn’t find it disingenuous. She was very real and it was a tense but very raw and vital portion of their relationship.
I do not see that she can’t stand him, she is probably very cognizant that she is NOT free to say everything she wants in front of the cameras.

Yeah... looks like drugs to me ? What would dilate her eyes like this. I have drops that do that, but I have a uveitis.  She looks heathy although I felt her over the top agressive.

So what was the crew a month ago at her house then??

All I'm saying is, if someone told me Hannah Ann took a little somethin' to, shall we say ~ enhance her performance ~ I would not be surprised.

Also I find it weird that peter was left behind and ha left to USA... took one week after MTP.  

I do not recall lead stayed and fiancée left and parents stayed ?

There are quite a number of medications that can be associated with that symptom :

These meds include:
* Atropine (Atropen), which treats problems with heart rhythm, stomach issues, and some types of poisoning
* Antihistamines, like diphenhydramine (Benadryl, Genahist, Naramin, Sominex, Unisom)
* Decongestants, like pseudoephedrine (Afrinol, Sudafed)
* Motion sickness and anti-nausea medicines such as dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) or a scopolamine patch
* Parkinson's medications such as amantadine (Symmetrel) and carbidopa-levodopa (Sinemet)
* Tricyclic antidepressants like amitriptyline (Elavil) and desipramine (Norpramin)
* Botulinum toxin (Botox, Myobloc)
* Anti-seizure drugs, such as phenobarbital (Luminal) and topiramate (Topamax)
* Cocaine
* Amphetamines
* LSD
* Ecstasy
These drugs affect the muscle that widens the pupil, slowing how it reacts to light. So even in a bright room, the eyes stay dilated. Withdrawal from these drugs can also make the pupils stay open wide “ from WebMd.

My pick would be Coke because that's the one that would make you feel like a superhot badass bitch if you knew you were about to be dumped on international TV... but what do I know.  :halo:

Anyway... I have finished watching the finale.  What a sh!tshow.  

Madi seemed pretty carefree, which I assume means she's probably not planning to pursue anything with Pete post-show.  I liked her more at the ATFR than I did all season.  

Pete looks utterly exhausted and should probably make an appointment with a therapist post haste IMO.  Hannah came out of it looking great and will be Queen of Paradise IMO.

Add me to what may be a small list who thinks that breakup advice is why Peter reached out to Hannah B; there only a few in BN who have been through breakups with their F1 while the season is still airing and the only one in that list that Peter actually knows is Hannah B. JMHO
