Really? Barb is completely OTT but she explained exactly why she had such a negative impression of Madi. She said Madi didn’t want to come in and meet Peter’s family, made them wait 3 hours and didn’t apologize for that, said she didn’t love Peter and wouldn’t accept a proposal. How would any parent feel hearing that?! Barb confronted Madi and Madi couldn’t even offer the slightest olive branch. A complete and total lack of humility and respect for her elders. Barb was awful too. Sorry but Madi’s conduct was as unchristian as it gets. jmo

Even if Madi did everything that Barbara accused her of doing, not publicly supporting your son's decisions is reprehensible, IMO.

well we now know that the spoiler of Peter's season is Barb!

What boggles me is that this all happened months ago.
How is Barb still so angry about it all that she couldn’t hold it in for one night for her sons sake. She acted like this all went down yesterday.

Honestly I cannot imagine what peter has been living with and putting up with from his mum and family the last few months - a total lack of love and support.
As a parent her behaviour tonight just blows my mind

Definitely!!she must also be triggered by the reaction from the public to last nights episode. However I do hope things calm down for them as a family.

Ok just watched it and I was impressed with HA ! DAMN that girl does have a backbone and finally we saw it! It was the best to watch her go off at Peter. I could watch that on repeat
I am a little concerned what Peter may do...will he break away from his family to be with Madi or not? Ahhh who cares thank goodness this season is done. what a crazy ep but JMO it probably was the most entertaining episode of the season.

It’s not an either/or. Both Madi and Barb were awful. Honestly I feel badly for them all, HA, Madi, Peter, Barb, Peter’s dad etc., as nothing is worth the damage they all just did to each other and their relationships. I honestly can’t believe what I just watched. jmo

Speak on it! I absolutely loved it because it was funny as hell to me, but Barb shouldn’t have acted like she did for her son’s sake. & Madi shouldn’t have reacted like she did, if she truly loves Peter & wants to be with him. At the end of the day, that’s Peter’s mom & Barb isn’t going anywhere. Madi was very unchristian like to me tonight. She was smug and classless, refused to see where she could’ve handled things better, and is extremely self righteous. All jmo.

Barb said, say something mean to help me out.... Literally she was disgusting and rude and embarrassing to the whole family. I feel so sad for Peter, and Madi. It will never work.

Haha if barb was triggered by last nights reaction to her in the episode she 100% did herself
No favours tonight..... you think she would have been on her best behaviour and been supporting and loving tonight if last nights SM “feedback” upset her. That was clearly the furthest thing from her mind.

Did she know the camera was focused on her the entire night?

There is no excuse for the way Barb behaved. There is never any excuse to humiliate and manipulate your child. It wasn’t funny, it was painful to see unfold. IMO Barb wasn’t actually angry with Madi about any of the reasons she listed, otherwise she should take a look at the actions of her own son (where was the apology to Victoria F’s family?) What a pitiful excuse. Barb was upset because her son didn’t do what she wanted him to do and she usually rules her home through control and emotional manipulation. Barb was upset because Madi wasn’t deferential to her and didn’t put Peter on a pedestal. Madi views them as equals, Peter isn’t an angel and neither is she. These conversations needed to happen off camera, and if Barb had any concern for her son’s actual wellbeing she would’ve understood that. It wasn’t the time or place. She made his season about herself, about her preferences, about her grievances. If I was Peter, I’d move as far away as I could and quickly. All JMO.
