I 100% agree with you. I suspect both have an understanding that it's a casual thing, so that takes the pressure of expectation off. That's why to me, personally, this pairing is a non-story because they both know what it is.

@Mia_Leoni My problem with it is that they are not on a press junket like she is. She is the one that has to field questions and has press "insinuating" that I guy she has feelings for is now "seeing" a super model.

Yea, it's definitely not equal in how they share their side of the story to the media. Unfortunately, Hannah has developed real feelings (it seems) and she has to deal with the consequences of Tyler having a casual relationship with someone else. Publicly, apparently.

I don't really feel bad for her. She asked him out publicly on AFTR, imho to save face. He was pretty much obliged to agree. He had also made arrangements with Gigi prior, and didn't want to cancel these plans. If Hanna didn't want to be questioned about her and Tyler's situation, she could've easily asked him out privately off camera. Her choice to make it public is why she's now questioned about it. Jmho.

Not to mention, AFTR was the first opportunity HE had to come out with his personal life. Tyler couldn't share that he was dating, or interested in dating someone else, while he was still in Hannah's F3.

Now that the show is over, he and Gigi could admit to dating publicly. Even if it was a longer time coming than we know for sure.

I don’t think the public request made much of a difference here. Even if she asked privately, I think he would’ve said yes. He’s a single man and I believe he genuinely wanted to spend time with Hannah. Listening to Hannah, it doesn’t sound like it was a pity date nor that he friend zoned her. And I never thought it was because Tyler clearly does what he wants. He’s shown us that. But then they still would’ve been papped because she still would’ve told one of her producers and it would’ve been leaked. IMO and people still would’ve set their expectations too high. and Tyler still would’ve gone out with Gigi. So I’m not sure the public vs private request mattered much. JMO

Tyler still is not claiming to be dating anyone and don’t suspect he will be anytime soon. He is living as a single man. Single does not equal monk. He was not spending all his nights alone in NY or with Matt. Gigi isn’t his first model.

I agree @Summerfun1980. Either way it was asked, I believe he would have and wanted to say yes. After listening to the 2 podcasts that he was on, IMO, he clearly still had/has feelings for her. I think the media coverage of both has just made it more complicated and messier than it needs to be. I think if they were left alone, like your average person would be, they may be able to work whatever is going on out. This is only my opinion, but I do know that I would hate to be young and dating in this day and age...yikes!

I’m not sure I believe that their date was leaked by her people. Isn’t it reasonable for someone in her complex to have previously recognized that she was living there? I mean all of BN knew that he was still in LA and possibly waiting on her to return from NY. If I knew that she lived in my complex and that Tyler was still in town, I probably wouldn’t be above watching for them. I would never leak it to anyone (but you all) but not everyone is as cool as I am either...

My point is, that imho Hannah made it seem like she's pursuing Tyler now, when she openly asked him out, during AFTR. She willingly made it all public, and now is whining a bit, that people still question her about Tyler.

I would feel sorry for her if she did it privately, but it leaked out without her wanting to. Imo

I have no clue who Tyler has or hasn't dated, but imho it's be nice to see some proof about him dating models. Jmo

@avacaroline The problem is Hannah is friends or (believes she is) with her producers. No way she wouldn’t have told Chris, Lauren, Samantha and the rest, even if she had asked him out privately. And the show has the incentive to leak it and get pics. Hell Im sure they wish they could’ve put a camera in her apartment. JMO

It would be nice to have more material to sleuth, to piece together a more "accurate" story. Assuming about anything without having clear information has been a pitfall for me this season - nothing "made sense".

She may not have purposely leaked it, but I'm willing to bet she told her producers/handlers, and in turn, they leaked it. Why she thinks these people are her best friends having her best interests beats me, but she'll find out sooner or later.
