Bachelorette 15 - Hannah Brown - Media - SM - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #11

I think a lot of people liked the idea that Hannah and Tyler could be together partly because it was the only romantic storyline by the end of her season. It wasn't such a stretch because he was in the f2 and said he was ready to propose but it's clear that neither are really ready to settle down at this time, imo. I don't think this is Tyler's or Hannah's fault. It's just what it is.

I'm reasonably certain that Tyler wasn't interested in being TB but it seems that he's going to have no shortage of dates if that's what he wants. I'm sure Hannah wil be disappointed that it's not happening the way she hoped but she'll be fine. All JMO.

IMO, Tyler is doing what’s best for him. He should not trust Hannah with his heart again. She does not know what she wants. When she had every reason in the world to choose him, SHE DID NOT. Hannah being eager to be with him now is suspect and disingenuous, IMO. I do not believe she could have been in love with Tyler and gleefully admitted to the world she slept with Peter after we all saw how her FD with Tyler was postured. She has not shown concern for Tyler’s feelings, IMO.

IMO I also don’t think she would have allowed him to select a ring and get halfway through a beautiful engagement speech before rejecting him on national tv and then immediately accepting Jed’s proposal and fawning and smiling. Think about that. She set him up. If she knew she was going to hurt him like that, why not go to his room and tell him the night before? I do not buy she had no idea who she was going to choose. Lots of manufactured hype and drama, yes. But, I believe she knew who she’d choose. Isn’t that why they brought Tyler to the site, first? She mortified him like that for the extra payday? The drama? Certainly not for love.

IMO it has been unrealistic all along to expect any man to be ok with being rejected the way he was. His mother supporting a reunion with Hannah after what played out on our TVs, is the most bizarre and ridiculous reaction I’ve ever seen. You hurt someone I love like that, you’re dead to me, period.

CH is full of it. ABC is angling to optimize everything that happens for their benefit and he’s the ringmaster.

I have so much respect for Colton for just getting off the stupid TB merry go round and taking back control of his life. I have always hoped Tyler will do the same. All IMO.

Or maybe people read too much into things. I think Tyler cares for Hannah as a good friend.

Tyler defending her against trolls does not mean he was interested in her romantically anymore.

I literally never said he shouldn’t have, not sure where you read that.  I said that there was some degree of risk to it and that viewers could be confused.  The bottom line here to me is that Hannah isn’t a horrible person and letting Gigi’s PR machine take control doesn’t seem like the nicest thing to do when it affects the woman you were so supportive of a few days ago IMO.

Hannah was hanging out with Lauren Zuma and Chris Harrison dancing to Whitney Houston I wanna dance with somebody she looked like she was having fun

Not sure ABC is necessarily upset at all? I'm sure CH and tptb are not pleased as they couldn't manipulate Tyler into playing their games. It is premiere week for BIP... but what are the headlines all talking about? Definitely not this new show, contestants, or storylines. I don't remember a time when an F2 has generated so much press and buzz towards a show. I don't even think it's bad press as he is doing nothing wrong. I think ABC loves all this attention and would be stupid to not consider him for DWTS (doesn't mean he'll get it). I for one, am hoping they cast both Tyler and Hannah

@dee Your points are all very good, as ABC has to love the attention, as you state. But I am curious to see when this all settles what decisions the network makes. I’ve thought for a long time that Tyler would be a strong candidate for DWTS & ABC would be foolish to forego his popularity. Tyler has indicated he’d like to do the show. Hannah has also indicated she’d like to do DWTS. Casting them both should be a no-brainer for ABC. But if there’s only room for one of them, where will the chips fall & does Tyler’s recent decisions help or hurt him?

@Chgohighlife You nailed it! Tyler is no dumb jock. He sees what's going on and refused to sign up to be Hannah's rebound. I repeat he is only man in the F4 that wants anything to do with her, who hasn't shaded her. How is he supposed to trust her "feelings" are sincere. I honestly think it would've played better if she didn't try to rewrite the season, admit she was blinded by the guitar and made the wrong choice and didn't see Tyler fully and privately tell him she would like to get to know him. The end. Could've avoided all this new drama after the season. JMO

Now Tyler has NO control over Gigi much like he and Hannah have none over ABC.  IA he stepped into another whirlwind and is in over his head with Gigi.  I'm not sure what he can do to stop Gigi from leaking stuff and calling the paps.  She's not going to stop.  That's the only reason she's in this relationship. IMO

I want to throw in that Tyler’s weekly defense of Hannah on Twitter throughout the season might have confused viewers and Hannah that he might still be interested in her.  No one forced him to do that (how many contestants ever do), so there was risk in strongly defending her if he wasn’t interested in her.  On the heels of that it feels a little harsh to throw his lot in with Gigi and her PR machine.  It just doesn’t feel like the same guy who was so enamored of Hannah while the season was airing and who went to bat for her repeatedly.

I think he was just trying to be a good guy and stand up for her. I questioned if there was any romantic feelings between them in the first place. The fact that she refused to have sex with him in the FSD told me all I needed to know. I think if Luke would have toned it down a notch or two, she would have taken him to the FRC along with Jed. I never saw "it" with Tyler and his BL was so off on ATFR, but at that time GiGi had probably already slipped into his DM's. . Jmo

She is at the Bachelor in Paradise premier party. I am glad she is letting her hair down after the interviews today. I still want to see her hang out  with people that are not in the Bachelor bubble like she is. Hopefully this is one of the last commitments to the show. I liked the LA move when we first heard about it but imo to take full advantage of it she needs to stop being around producers when she is out. I just want to see Hannah actually explore the opportunities in LA and not just be with people from this show. All jmo.

There were tweets joking from the finale last Tuesday that Tyler had already planned to move on to Gigi that's why he was making those faces. Funny to see those tweets come true.
