Bachelorette 15 - Hannah Brown - Media - SM - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #11

I don't know, it sure seemed to me during press last week Tyler was genuinely interested in seeing where things might go with Hannah, albeit slowly. Was he manipulated into saying that? Was he manipulated into reaching out to her during the airing of the season?  I just hope he continues to be honest and real with her....and if he's not genuinely interested in seeing where things go, he weans her of his attentions, ASAP. 

If ch is salty, that's his choice/point of view. Could it be he's doing the devils work? Sure. But if he's genuinely hurting for Hannah I'll cut him slack.


I think many are struggling because just last Tuesday night we saw Tyler declare his forever love and that he pictures Hannah his wife and mother of his kids....though in reality months have passed, it's really only been about two months, during which Tyler has received tremendous praise for being there for Hannah, etc etc. it's hard to juxtapose the image of that Tyler against the image of the guy in the striped shirt sneaking into the hadid SUV last night. Not sayinhe'awful, just it seems maybe he was a lot more hot air than we started to give him credit for. Of course we really don't know what's being said in private so it could be I'm being too harsh on him, but I think this is how much of bach nation views it, especially papa chris. My gut still tells me these two are, for all their talking, not being 100% honest with each other, maybe out of an instinct to protect themselves. Hannah took a risk at the atfr and now, to some of us I think, it looks like Tyler can't put his emotional currency where his mouth was. Yes, he was hurt, and they have things to process, but if it's not the case that he's trying to give Hannah her space, out of love, accepting the invite of this supermodel, while his right, makes it seem like he was full of it all along. I’m curious to know how upset ABC actually is with Tyler at the moment, if at all. If the network (vs just CH personally) isn’t happy, his potential DWTS opportunity could be in jeopardy. That’s how they work IMO.

Maybe Tyler doesn't want to be a rebound and got a lot of clarity after watching the show back. Let's not act like Tyler wasn't treated different than Jed and freaking Luke P.  Tyler never said he was getting into a relationship with Hannah and Hannah never said that either. They are still talking and being friends and taking things slow. Tyler said he didn't think it was a good idea to jump into a relationship quickly which is IMO the best thing to do. Hannah looked pretty hurt over Jed on that couch and I believe she really did love him. It's clear where they stand. I think people are just mad that their ship is not happening and are taking it out on Tyler because he's the super hot popular guy who doesn't want to settle for 2nd or as chris harrison says 3rd choice. I'm not understanding the intense disconnect continuously being showed between Tyler/Hannah vs the fans.

@Billysmom I hear you. But Hannah wasn't the only one hurt. She hurt Tyler. And less than a week ago we also heard heard about Hannah sleeping with Peter four times in a windmill and saw her reject Tyler for Jed. So while it might be hard to see Tyler dating after watching him profess his love for Hannah less than a week ago, it should be understandable. Based on what I'm seeing on social media, though some expected him to run back to Hannah, a lot of people do understand.  And this thing with Gigi is so obviously a PR stunt on her part, a leaked article about them going bowling, I can't believe folks are making a big deal about it.  I totally understand if Hannah wants to cut ties with him, but that would mean she never was interested in taking in slow and being his friend and supporting him like he did her even when she was with Jed. Tyler spent time with Hannah. He didn't blow her off. Hannah said they are still talking but they are both single.  All JMO

Hi. Haven't posted in a long time. Honestly, I think Chris is just calling it like it is. I don't think he's salty. Basically, he said, Hannah is single. Tyler is single. They both said they are open to keeping in touch and seeing where things go. They never committed to dating exclusively. Hannah just made her feeling known to Tyler during the AFTR. All Chris said is that Tyler is a single man, if he prefers to date then maybe he is not ready to settle down and be the bachelor. Makes sense. There's nothing wrong with dating. Hannah and Tyler have just made some big life changes. Hannah moved cross country on her own. If Tyler & Hannah want to make it work, it'll take a lot of effort. In the end, Tyler and Hannah will have to decide if it's worht it.

@chicagoowl exactly. I don’t think Chris is saying anything completely out of line and trashing him. Tyler can do what he wants, but ultimately he was spotted at Hannah’s apartment Friday morning and then he went on a date and back to GiGi’s apartment two days later. It’s going to be talked about. 

On another note, GiGi’s people are clearly leaking info since this ET article says exactly that  I wonder which of her friends that was there with them tonight reached out?

@Ash2214 he called his dates with gigi "play dates;" insinuated he wasn't "sincere;" and called him Hannah's potentially "third choice" anyway.

You really don't think he's mad Tyler didn't play ball?

Why didn't he go this hard at Jed?

@Summerfun1980 Tyler spent the night at Hannah’s apartment and then went on a date with a supermodel all within a three day time period. Again, his choice. Nothing wrong with it. CH stating that Tyler is single, can do what he wants by dating around, but when they cast the lead they want someone who is sincere about settling down is not that shady IMO. Kind of a true statement. 

I’m not saying CH was an angel and didn’t get a little shady, but he’s not throwing Tyler under the bus here any differently than every outlet I’ve read who have started off their articles with “Tyler goes on a date with GiGi just days after spending the night with Hannah!” It is what it is.

I want to throw in that Tyler’s weekly defense of Hannah on Twitter throughout the season might have confused viewers and Hannah that he might still be interested in her.  No one forced him to do that (how many contestants ever do), so there was risk in strongly defending her if he wasn’t interested in her.  On the heels of that it feels a little harsh to throw his lot in with Gigi and her PR machine.  It just doesn’t feel like the same guy who was so enamored of Hannah while the season was airing and who went to bat for her repeatedly.

@mbl Maybe he genuinely cares for Hannah and wanted to support her?  I believe so. Hannah was being attacked, harshly, weekly.  I believe he is a good man and it bothered him.  Should he have stayed quiet like Jed/Peter?  There was literally no other guy from her season stepping up for her.  It sounds like you're saying Tyler should've never expressed support for Hannah?  His support did not equal "let's hop back in a committed relationship." I still remember how stressed and sad he looked in those ig videos when the Jed news first broke. He was visibly bothered and sad.  And Hannah was getting attacked about Luke and the windmill and being stupid. I think he just flew into action because he cares.  Doesn't mean his heart was ready to jump back into a relationship with her.  JMO

He was still defending her this week on AF and he sounded sincere. JMO

Not sure ABC is necessarily upset at all? I'm sure CH and tptb are not pleased as they couldn't manipulate Tyler into playing their games. It is premiere week for BIP... but what are the headlines all talking about? Definitely not this new show, contestants, or storylines. I don't remember a time when an F2 has generated so much press and buzz towards a show. I don't even think it's bad press as he is doing nothing wrong. I think ABC loves all this attention and would be stupid to not consider him for DWTS (doesn't mean he'll get it). I for one, am hoping they cast both Tyler and Hannah
