That's because people were giving him (and were more willing to give him) the benefit of the doubt that he was actually ready to settle down and give up his IMO shady, womanizer ways. Which IMO he completely proved he wasn't with pulling a switch. If he wanted LB, he should've picked her. All he did was prove Jef and the naysayers right IMO.

And to add, some of those naysayers is his ex who really knew him. She seem to be enjoying this season because she see it playing out like she thought . Arie might be just that predictable to those that truly know him. Jmo

Who are all the ex's that are speaking out? I only know of two. TYIA

I think Jason proved that changing your mind doesn’t mean you’re not ready ... and seeing as I don’t have a crystal ball... I’ll wait to see how this all plays out in the coming months...

I adjusted my post. It’s Sydney . She seems to know all of this was going to happen per her tweets and likes of articles catching on to everything .

Omg I chocked on my tea Y'all are savage sometimes on this forum with these postsStone_Hedge wrote:stuckinsc wrote:@Newto I want the wedding for us. I don’t care about Arie. Their engagement five weeks after the end of his last one, out of the contractual obligations makes me think they are ridiculous anyway. To me a wedding would just be more compound ridiculousness. Fleiss would love this imo.

But, but, but that wasn’t in the script!
In all seriousness, changing one’s mind doesn’t mean one’s not ready to settle down, IMO. I don’t think that Arie’s proven Jef and the naysayers right. I’ll agree with @northernviewer that I don’t have a crystal ball either. I don’t know yet how it turns out. Arie and Lauren may not either, but I hope they’re hopeful for the future.

But Jef said , no matter who comes out of the limo that arie picks, they won’t last a year.
Sydney - Arie will have a hard time choosing only one
(Paraphrasing )
Arie has already proven them right. Case closed. True we’ll see what happens next but if it’s in regards to odds, it’s not good. Sure they can defy the odds and that would be wonderful . TBS

We'll just agree to disagree. I don't think it was scripted and sincerely hope it was not because I don't see how that makes his actions and attitude better. IMO it makes it worse. Nor did Jason have a history of jumping and juggling. So I can't compare his switch to Arie's.
I hope he genuinely attempts a relationship with LB and if they want to make it work, that they do. I want him to prove me wrong. Because right now I'm not liking the self absorbed, insensitive, jerky Arie that I've seen on SM and in interviews since the switch. I generally was hoping for him to find his HEA and now I want him off my screen and not to hear his name again

He must be serious he didn't propose to those other 15 and immediately broke off that other one to propose to Lauren and now he's sitting on cloud nine.
