IA Arie and Becca seem very comfortable with each other and I too saw a love story with them. She asks questions and tells him how she feels without having to pull it out of her. I think the chase is a big part of Arie’s infatuation with Lauren. Up until now she has been pretty closed from what they are showing us. I’ve always thought the producers encourage the lead to get as many “I love you’s” as possible. Maybe that’s part of Arie’s reaction when Jacqueline left, encouraging her to come back if she changed her mind.

IDK.. I tried to find the location where the boyfriend shows up in Cusco w/no luck, then we got new caps. This room is not his hotel in Cusco (the final 2 location) which again made me think it's at F3. You can see the faint outline of a man at the door. Also, there's that cap of tulips on the ground.

Whether or not the edit is being changed to show a favourable love story with Lauren, IMHO the fact remains, that it existed.

That's a indication that he didn't feel anything deep for her because you are nervous Or some degree of nervousness around someone you really care about. I was watching a deleted scene and Becca was hanging onto Arie, not the other way around.
I agree that Arie thought at the frc that Becca was the best choice, what made him come to that decision I don't know but eagerly anticipating.

I'm just wondering how is the correct or right way to handle it.

I’m not going to give him a pass for his behavior just because they show his love story with Lauren... if it was that great... why didn’t he just chose her in the first place and save us from this mess?

I disagree completely about nervous with people you care about. My husband and I were comfortable from day one. Every relationship is different IMO.

I'm not giving him a pass for anything. I'm pointing out that if the edit is being changed, as it has been discussed, then to me, it has always been there. They can't show something that didn't exist.

If they tried to show a love story with Becca, it hasn't worked for me yet. Perhaps it's on the cutting room floor, but they certainly, to me, showed the love story with Lauren this last episode. For weeks I couldn't see him with anyone. He IMO for the most part has treated them all the same, except last epi where his emotions were clearly shown to us with Lauren.

Well to me he didn’t pick her so I just can’t really take their narrative seriously. JMO. It’s clear they are leaving a lot of Becca’s story on the cutting room floor or he wouldnt have chosen her.

He clearly was infatuated with both of them but he didn’t really love either JMO. I highly doubt he even knows what real love is. He is very surface level and fake.

Each season 2 cast have to go to the final 2. 
The storyline will make things look as if the lead is torn between 2 people whether or not this is true. Sometimes the lead is torn. Sometimes the lead is not into either of the two and chooses whoever he/she does for whatever reason. Sometimes the lead is into only one from day one. 
Because someone was chosen does not equate that the lead had romantic feelings for that person. History of the show says this is true and has happened multiple times. 
Hopefully, after the show, a more accurate reality will come to light. Most likely it will be even 6 months after the show is over. JMO

I would be hugely shocked if Arie is even with Laure six months for now. Jmo

Sleuthers have known for years to to watch who the lead is chasing, not who is chasing the lead for clues on F1. I agree that Arie is at ease with Becca and have seen numerous instances where she initiates the contact / takes the lead. Becca would seem to be a good match for Arie on paper and we've seen similar with many Bach leads and their F1.

Case in point is Arie's good friend - show mentor Sean with Catherine & his F2 Lindsay. Longtime viewers may remember Lindsay popped out of the limo night one in a wedding gown. Becca as we know made Arie get down on one knee and propose.   Lindsay was a demure school teacher from the midwest, a devout Christian whose loving parents had a very stable relationship. Cat was portrayed as a vegan agnostic from a divorced home whose mom chided her for being fat as a child. Sean and Lindsay clicked on so many levels & were very comfortable with each other. Cat's time with Sean was punctuated with her nervous giggles and their lifestyles & upbringings couldn't have been more different. On paper, Lindsay would have been a better fit for Sean - yet Sean and Cat are married with a son and another kiddo on the way.  

Did TPTB try to make the good fit on paper Becca into Arie's F1, as they tried to do with Lindsay in Sean's season? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

The edit wasn't changed in my opinion. I'm always looking for the love story but this season since I read that Becca was the F1 I began to notice the edit and there was nothing edit wise lead me to believe Becca was really the F1, she seem to be buried and I couldn't understand that. I didn't know if there was anyone there for him until the episode he took Lauren to Bibiana's spot, I saw something.

Whether he's given a pass or not, the sun will still rise and set.
