I don't think arie will last with Lauren eventually arie will become bored with her or if some other woman catches his eye arie likes the chase and once he gets the woman he becomes less interested jmo

Good post!Kashathediva wrote:Each season 2 cast have to go to the final 2.
The storyline will make things look as if the lead is torn between 2 people whether or not this is true. Sometimes the lead is torn. Sometimes the lead is not into either of the two and chooses whoever he/she does for whatever reason. Sometimes the lead is into only one from day one.
Because someone was chosen does not equate that the lead had romantic feelings for that person. History of the show says this is true and has happened multiple times.
Hopefully, after the show, a more accurate reality will come to light. Most likely it will be even 6 months after the show is over. JMO

I have pretty much checked out of the season because Arie is a mess as a lead. When Arie let chemistry lead the way, his journey felt real. His time with Bekah stood leaps and bounds above the rest, not only in chemistry but in conversations. Her communication skills are way beyond her years. When she said "22", his journey definitely changed from leading with his heart to leading with his head. I'm inclined to think very few saw that coming!
IMO, he talked himself into the F2. I think he's convinced he found love, I really do. How that will translate long term, we shall see.
Until Arie learns to just let go and trust his heart like he did with Emily, I don't give it a whole lot of hope. His journey of love looks nothing like the last one I witnessed. It doesn't even compare, IMO.
I think the pressure of SM will get to Lauren much more so than it will to Arie. I do think he wants it to work. He will have to dig in completely with his heart outside the bubble. I will know if he did that 6 months from now when the cameras are long gone and his head is no longer running the show or leading the way. JMO

It's funny that so many people see Arie as a bad lead, but I don't. And believe me, I'm not fanning over him. I just see a real guy trying to have real conversations and get to know the women within the scope of this show.
It seems he did alot of kissing, and personally, I feel his kissing style this season is gross, where with Emily it was hot because it seemed a natural response to their chemistry. These kisses were "produced" to fulfill his role as the bandit. blech. Always, tptb get hold of something and run it into the ground. imo.
BUT, we see bits of his conversations in deleted scenes or previews or sometimes even in the episode itself that tell me he was trying to get to know the women. It's interesting to watch his walls go up when he knows there's no future with someone. And the dates with those women are much more activity oriented instead of allowing time for talking and kissing. all just imo.

Oh, I don't see Arie as a bad lead. He tells Jacqueline to come back to me in one breath and tells Lauren he's falling deeply in another breath the next day. He is trying to get to know them but his head is sending mixed signals. I just don't see the heart leading his journey at this point. We are at HTD! He's a lost puppy, IMO. That's the mess I speak of. I do feel bad for him and I really like Arie.

I see it the same as you. I see someone who is truly looking for his wife. He's truly trying to follow Sean's advice, in taking his time. He keep stating about how the relationship would be outside of this show. I wasn't overjoyed for him to be the bachelor nor was disappointed. I made a decision to watch and I'm not fanning him or anyone else. I just state what I see and think. Arie to me is easy to read just like Brad, their thoughts show up on their face.

That's all a part of the bachelor formula. You can't get caught all up into everything they say, that's how they keep you guessing and confused. If they were allowed to say all the true and right things to their chosen then there wouldn't be a show to present. That's just not tptb goal.
