Bachelor Australia - Season 5 - Matty Johnson - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #3

Has anyone noticed Matty's 'tell' ? I saw it in episode ten when he is having that discussion with jen towards the end about Lisa. His face changes and he does a very noticeable swallow. I also noted this in episode 12 straight after Laura finished reading her fear board.
Also note in that same episode how when Elise finishes reading her fears matty picks her up and hugs her. Not something he did with any of the others shown.

That's a great pickup. I hadn't noticed but I will watch the last episode again

Laura read her board last in real time, but was spliced into the middle. I think he might have gulped when she playfully pointed at him being the one she might fall in love with but be hurt by.... Whether he was play acting or genuinely uncomfortable I have no idea. But will go back and rewatch his reaction to both... interesting insight, thx.

I didn't realise it was changed around thank you. I guess I'm so team Elise that that part slipped past me. It did look very natural.

@Justme I personally like that Elise ran to Matty, it shows Matty she isn't holding back, like other women

That's what I thought, but I am so invested in elise, so it is probably good for me to have a different perspective

You guys made me watch that scene again, did Laura point her fingers to him when she was done reading her fears out? Laura also was the one that initiated that hug with Matty after the punch IMO.

Matty made a surprise expression after Elise punched the board, maybe she packed a hard bunch . So yeah when Elise was done punching she lifted her hands up but it wasn't like she she sprinted towards Matty IMO, it was more like a fast walk to him but yeah he still chose to lift her up and hug her but maybe because he can easily do so compared to the other girls, actually Flo is sorta smaller than most of the other girls too...all jmho.

I was wondering, at the time of filming, what time did night fall? How much time did matty and Laura spend together before the star naming? ( I found myself hoping they at least got fed, ...)

Could someone record the episode 13 sneak peek for those that don't have access to watch it on tenplay?

Laura did point at him yep! It was a very take it or leave it hug imo after that weird, nervous, uncomfortable Twirl thing she did
To me it looked like something a couple would do or maybe she was just excited that she had done it. Would of loved to know what else she wrote on the board as they cut most of it out.
