FWIW I was the least clucky person in the universe before I had kids - still don't really enjoy any one else's - but I am Mother of the Year material when it comes to my own.

Leah building Laura is as a huge threat if Matty spends more time with her. Maybe Bach AU really are playing it straight, and belting us over the head with the winner? It seems to be laid on too thick though, where's the suspense for the FRC if it's Laura and anyone else?

It's not the belting over the head or obviousness of anything, it's that it just seems so scripted imo
