IA with you ^^^. That scene looks like so many other LCDs at the end of the evening/night part of the date. I would find it impossible for Rachel to forgo the FS with Bryan . imo

I know it might sound crazy--but is it possible that the Peter in gray sweater saying--- I'm not gonna give up on you--could it have been during HTD and they didn't show it-- just like they left out Rachel's I'm falling in love during Bryan"s HTD?

Peter: 2 glasses + wine
bryan: 2 glasses + champagne

so how do you justify those?

Oh I believe he does get a LCD now with the SC but I'm believing there is something that we don't see that will be the first. I totally believe she sent him home before FRC. I think the sleuthers need to examine all the sc's.

I just have a question about the behind the scenes page on ABC. It says these are behind the scenes pictures, the deleted scene, and the featured sights from week 8. Doesn't this mean these were unshown pics from this past episode? I was also beginning to think the chapel scene was an outtake that would not be aired during the episode. Simply because of the way Rachel starts talking to the 3 men about what she expects - standing there at the F3 rose ceremony. What do you all think?

@SFoster, I think the chapel scene for Peter is from the LCD and they just ended up adding it to the Week 8 BTS by mistake. IMO TPTB wouldn't skip out the entire scene/visit for a famous monastery and there are too many SC pointing towards Peter's pre-FRC night elimination IMO at this point.

Based on the SC, IMO Eric is eliminated at the F3 RC, Bryan and Peter both have LCD and then Rachel lets Peter go the night before the FRC.

@coolangel, that's what I was thinking. It would be the first time I remember them omitting an entire scene that was shown in a preview. Usually the outtakes are not in the previews, even though some brief sentences in the itms are sometimes not aired in the episode. Thanks!

I do recall seeing few segments during teasers that we never saw. I clearly remember having this conversation on this forum too and the frustration about it.

I am confused here. We are still missing a date and a place to visit with Peter no? Becasue the winery was the F3 date right?

so why would this chapel part would not be seen? I think Peter will refuse the fantasy card and later during the night portion of this monastery visit, Rachel decided to pay him a visit and let him go. (yes I am aware I am changing my mind but I am trying to think of a logical explanation)

it was very cloudy during their stomping the grapes. dark clouds. In april, temperature in northern spain was half month rain, half month nice temps. So maybe it turned to a storn and they had to change their clothes (she is wearing a raincoat) and yes maybe cutting room decided it was more interesting to show the drama versus the prieur/priest.... which is silly becasue it clearly show how disconnected Peter was with Rachel and it was a key moment imo to show that

It can't be champagne with Bryan as Spanish sparkling wine is Cava. Just saying.

@HEA Yes, before they aired this episode I was thinking along those lines too. I was thinking too that they changed clothes due to the weather or getting grape juice all over them, from the stomping in the barrel. Yes, it rained that night too when she is letting him go. It's over an hour from the first vineyard they go to, to the chapel. Would they have time? They didn't air the chapel scene. If it was an outtake, then maybe they felt including it in the preview would be sufficient? idk

It also seems strange to me, and maybe even a little cruel, for her to call out Peter (he looks uncomfortable, looks down, frowns) before the F3 RC and says she expects a proposal, etc. Then sends Eric home, who is all in and ready to propose.

Another thing is the way Rachel left off this last episode. She clearly says she is not feeling it (with Peter) and for the first time, she thinks they don't have a future. It would be strange to give him a second chance, when she's given him so much time already. I was wondering if maybe they decide not to do the FS, but she doesn't send him home. Then later, back in her room, she rethinks and relents and goes back to talk to him again, hoping he may change his mind. But I would still be surprised she would wait until the RC to send him home, even so, because to me it's obvious she cuts him at some point.

I am really getting trying to fit the PI, the VO and the teasers. None of them fit together right now to me.
I am trying to have a reverse scenario but something does not looks right each time

peter was let go the night of the chapel date, once he accepted the fantasy key
peter was let go the following date of the chapel date
peter was let go the following date of the F3 rose ceremony
peter was let go the night of the F3 rose ceremony
peter was let go at the diner portion of the fantasy date

my issue is that we clearly see the wine and the 2 glasses... but we see her with the umbrella coming in and out

so is it possible that he refused the key but got the fantasy suite anyway? because from what we saw the rooms they had were very small (like all hotels in europe). The room where he cries seems to me a fantasy room. Or did he accept, they went, add this talk and she went later and the crying is BEFORE the umbrella?
