This happens every single season, imo. I don't think Peter is the first or the last one to receive negative criticism. My fav was criticized constantly in the past so I am used to it. I learn to not take it personally/too seriously, take a deep breath and go,to,the fan thread if necessary. The other thing I also learned is people switch teams. So someone who is in opposite team this season may become your closest teammate next season. So, my approach now is sit back, post, and enjoy！

IMO.

Ha, as a Nick fan I am used to the criticism. Four years worth . I will admit my judgment of liking Peter over TOG is because I would see him as more of a match for myself. Only Rachel knows what she wants in a partner. I bet it is pretty common for our favorites to be the contestants we can see ourselves with and we thrust those expectations onto the lead. Only human nature imo.

In case anyone is interested or does not go into other threads often here is a short list of cast that are often heatedly discussed. Please do NOT discuss this list. It is provided here to simply provide proof that Peter Kraus is one amongst many rather than the exception to this forum.

I base my opinions on sleuthing and what I observe while watching each epi.
I still see no progression in Peter and Rachel's relationship based on the edit. I don't think he's as into her despite what tp are trying to show me (ex, hot tub scene). Not buying it. He's still stiff as a board around her despite many interactions with her. His words don't make sense to me when he talks to her. The editing is all over the place. This is my strong opinion.

OT but how do you quote?

I started this season off with no preconceived favorite. Early in the season I liked several of the guys and some not at all. As far as Peter goes he seems fine to me but just not my cup of tea. He is very good looking but his personality is not what I prefer. As I have watched Rachel these past two seasons she has shown herself to be a strong woman with a big personality. As I watch Rachel and Peter I see a mismatch. Rachel is very touchy feely and Peter seems more mellow. I also see Rachel as someone who likes to go out to clubs and party and somehow Peter just strikes me as not being that kind of guy. I think Rachel is dazzled by Peter and I am sure if Peter ends up her f2....it was not an easy decision. And if Peter ends up her F1 she thought he was her guy. Regardless of who Rachel chooses...it will be the right choice for her. I never care if my favorites aren't chosen because I am not in the relationship and it is not my life.

I come on the forum to share in a wide variety of opinions. No opinion is more valid than another because all are that persons opinion. I enjoy reading all the pros and cons of those opinions. I also love the sleuthing aspect that this forum is founded on. I love getting to be an amateur detective. I also thoroughly appreciate the forum friendships that are forged. We may agree one season and be opposite in our opinions the next season. It is all interesting and fun....until people take things to personally. IMO respect should always prevail. Variety is the spice of life.
