Living life with little restrictions and responsibilities! Good for him! He seems a lot happier these days.

IMO, Ben gave up nothing. His life was pretty similar to his pre Bachelor life. The only thing he gave up was his space at home which of course is the only thing he talks about now that he has that back to normal. jmo

I'm not sure what restrictions Ben has ever had? He pretty much did what he wanted to do. If there were any instances where he was prohibited from spending time with his family or friends, or couldn't travel, or gave up vacations, or anything else that he was restricted in doing, I'd like to know. He obviously was working out an agreement for the podcast which would have taken place when they were pretty much done. IMO he did what he wanted to do, with or without Lauren.

He's happy he has his antlers back up and some outdoor furniture. Maybe he should just stop talking IMHO and go back to his job, like he seemed to do a few months ago. He's starting to sound like a scorned female IMHO.

I don't remember Lauren snapping being home alone many times last year because IMO they were pretty much joined at hip from July to almost end of last year filming and promoting HEA so I can't see how Lauren could be alone at home many times?? There was one scene of Ben in office ,nothing more. Well, thanks to Lauren he now has a nice looking bathroom compared to his previous crappy one.

I realize now that Ben and Lauren were doomed the second Lauren dared to change Ben's home into "our" home vs Ben's home. How dare she. That Home Depot melt down shows how unable to adjust to sharing his home with his fiancee Ben was. It's interesting how Ben's primary focus on his breakup tour is on materialistic possessions. Fascinating. He is so shallow. What a horrible agonizing year for him having to share and compromise with a women he allegedly loved. The more he talks...the worse he looks IMO.

Lauren gave up her previous life and Ben gave up sharing space with his fiancee. Poor guy...such a hardship.

He's coming across really petty and passive aggressive, IMO. If he didn't want the responsibilities and restrictions getting engaged, being in a relationship brings, why did he go to the Bachelorette and then become the lead. The purpose of that show is supposed to be finding love, getting into a relationship. No one forced him to propose, no one forced him to live with Lauren. If he wanted to fool around with no responsibilities tying him down, he could've easily dated without the show.

He Imo needs to grow up a lot before he tries to seriously date again.

Hmmm... and all this ^ in a nutshell maybe why he is "unlovable". Just saying. Ya got to give a little to get a little.

Ben is incredibly self-centered IMO. He loves to play the victim but be seen as the hero at the same time and I find him to be very manipulative. Even his whole "unlovable" spiel in hindsight I think is nothing more than his way to play victim when in reality I think he's just selfish and thinks his stuff don't stink and thrives on being seen as the "perfect" Ben who's just so unlovable. The more time passes the more I don't care for him. I'd rather take someone who is honest and authentic about who they are - the good, bad, and ugly - than someone who puts on such a fake facade like Ben does, IMO.

I can actually see he probably has a very controlling and manipulative ex-fiance, imo. Well this is Ben's thread, I'll just get back on track. I actually can't wait to see Ben reveal more, because he got blamed too much for the failed relationship, I definitely want to hear his side of the story and how bad it was to finally see through someone's true color.

I'm hoping these interviews aren't him trying to set himself up for another run as TB. I wasn't a fan of Brad getting a 2nd chance but at least he didn't get a f1 the first time. There's no reason for Ben to get a redux imo.

If anyone's doing any manipulating, IMO it isn't Lauren. I see what Ben's doing.

I don't believe Lauren controlled or restricted him in any way considering she was barely home at the same time as him over the last 6-7 month. It seemed like she was dropping hints while he was happy to let the show go on.

I think the producers are interested in him being the bachelor again, but Ben has already said he's very unlikely to go back on any Bachelor show. IMO, Ben does not come across manipulative at all. I think it was Lauren.
