If these two are indeed over then I have to say that Ben's tweet comes across so self-righteous IMO.

Just to clarify, I am no fan of Lauren and while it takes two to tango I don't really see anyone to "blame" if they are broken up as that's just life IMO. Relationships end. It happens. 

My post regarding Ben is just based on how I've seen him since first on K's season up until now he has always come across to me as not really knowing himself and putting on a facade. The inspirational quote tweet thing to me is just self-seeking and self-righteous and kind of "woe is me"-ish and yet a humble-brag that look he is the "good" guy just going through tough times, etc. It's just off-putting to me...

@AllAboutLove thanks for the tweet and I completely agree with your post.  I am over them long time.  Wishing them the best on the rest of their journey individually going forward.

Ben retweeted a tweet last week saying "anything worth doing is worth failing at."
I hope he's relating it to this situation. IMO, out of Ben and Lauren, it's Ben that is more likely to be an emotional wreck over the breakup. He's still a good guy with many qualities women are looking for..he doesn't deserve to be alone forever. And IMO, it's Lauren who I feel will try to rebound quickly and continue to show off on SM that she's over it. She's just spiteful and passive aggressive in that way I think.

The public does not know what contractual obligations, if any, the couple has about staying together.
Should there be any obligations, I would be out there enjoying myself every chance I could get vs at home knitting booties. No sense in wasting away a more than I had to. Doesn't mean I have to make an idiot of myself, though.

Ben is the one who used his Bach blog to drag Jubilee after dumping her, because she found the Bach experience difficult. Imo he's very insecure and petty, and passive aggressive when his ego gets bruised.

Imo Lauren has been dealing with a lot during this relationship, so if she deals with the break up by not moping at home eating ice cream, good on her. Imo. Ben has his life before Bach back on track, nothing has changed for him, except he's more famous. Lauren has to move yet again. And she'll get the general blame and sm hate, IMO, so I'm rooting for her. Jmo

IMO, I could care less if Lauren goes out and parties. She's still in her 20's. I do the same thing (mind you I don't document it on SM however.) I think what annoys people / 'fans' if you will is the fact that Lauren is partying while still 'engaged'. If she instead made a formal statement that her and Ben are not together anymore then I guarantee 80% of the people who are shi*ting on her for living her life wouldn't say anything- because she's SINGLE. It's clear as day to anyone she's checked out of this relationship, and she's probably sick of dragging it out. Just make a statement and move on, IMO. It's perfect Ben who's scared to show everyone he failed because he put out so many unrealistic wishes to Lauren, himself, and everyone around them. Ben's the one posting on SM about his gal blah blah, and promoting Disney weddings, while Lauren didn't even live tweet and just acknowledged she starred in it as a host.

Eta: I know it's her life and she can party while engaged, but it's the partying instead of quality time that annoys their fans. They're placing blame on Lauren for the downfall of the relationship because of her partying when that isn't the case at all. The root cause of their problems goes way beyond Lauren's partying.

I'm just saying Lauren likes to show off and flaunt things on SM. Showing off that she's over it. If Ben made the same posts Lauren did, I think people would be saying it's an classless move. I'd hope she would keep her posting respectful and word things more carefully. Simply because people are paying attention and reading into things. The gossip makes it 10x worse. If she was in a relationship with Josh Murray, then I'd say go ahead and be like Amanda. Uhhh...Ben Higgins > Josh Murray

I also don't agree with social media flaunting and over sharing. Annoys me with anyone. But I think she is just like any girl when they want to show their 'ex' or the 'man who isn't giving her enough attention' that they are happy without them type of deal. Most girls think that way, to make their SO jealous etc
