Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #8

BenLo have the weirdest relationship out of all the current Bach couples. If it's not them that broke up, I'm going to be pretty shocked.

Well Lauren too probably wasn't aware of immature , indecisive and people pleaser to the fault Ben behind all those perfect persona he gave .
If Lauren could uproot her life and be the one to compromise the most in the relationship, IMO she would have had no problem leaving partying life if she was settling down and starting life . She has been in limbo with Ben's indecisiveness for way too long ,so good for her if she can enjoy her life instead of being stuck with the person who just isn't ready to settle down .

@simon1781 If it was me, I would be gone long time ago, right after that cancelled wedding.  It's like he is getting the cow for free.  No wedding no me. simple. I guess no Politics no wedding.

According to what Ben and Lauren have shared, it was Lauren who decided to move to Denver. During his season he was open to moving for the other person. Whether she was his chosen one or not, she would've had to quit her flight attendant job anyway. Too public. It was only a couple weeks into January last year when she had to stop working. She was willing to move to Denver where Ben works and owns a home already - great. That made the most sense anyways IMO. She went into her blog which she said was more creative avenue for her - great, if she continues to work on it more. IMO these aren't some massive sacrifices she made.
It'd be nice to see her make smaller sacrifices..like instead of jetting off to some city in America to party on the weekend...why not spend the weekend with Ben, since that's when he's free from work?

I think Lauren absolutely LOVES the perks of this franchise. When else would she be in Diplo's snapchat fooling around if it wasn't for this show? Going on free vacations with Amanda to drink, take pics and call it their blog life. If she wasn't picked she would still be a flight attendant, taking normal breaks here and there just like her sister Mollie. I do wonder how this breakup will impact her life. Ben will put some inspirational quote and be glorified. Lauren will probably be the only one blamed for the breakup. (Unfortunately)

Imo Ben wasn't ready to compromise on anything. He had the infamous melt down over paint colors at home Depot. He even had a whine to his buddies about her stuff being al over the bathroom counters. Imo after she uprooted her life to move in with him, he could've simply let her have free range with painting the house etc. Imo it's been like that about everything. Imo Lauren stopped trying at some point, when she realized it was just one way street. Jmo

Imo Lauren will pick up the pieces and move on fast. Imo she doesn't cry over spilled milk long. She Imo is a doer, and will use any opportunities to make the situation best for her, and I can't wait to see what she'll do next. Ben will be stuck in his unlovable self pity bubble, until he gets back with his ex. Jmo

Ben is the golden boy, ahem, "Perfect Ben." Lauren will be the one taking the heat, imo.

Did Lauren not get a whole room to herself painted pink for her 'getting ready' room? Did she not renovate and get new furniture? Did she not pick out their new outdoor furniture? And didn't she say plenty of times how supportive Ben was and that he trusted her with it all?

And what sacrifices have Ben made compared to Lauren??None.Zero. Maybe you don't consider what Lauren did as big sacrifice. But for me to uproot life from where your close friends and siblings who she is very close to are,for a man , that's pretty big sacrifice.And yet here Perfect Ben had a fit when his ugly azz garage door headboard had to be removed or had to make changes to house so Lauren could feel at home. I can only imagine what might he would have turned into if he had been the one to move to other state away from his close knit of friends and place which he calls his second home.
And why should Lauren stay at home waiting for perfect Ben when at every turn of life she has been blindsided by his indecisiveness and immaturity. Gone are those days where women should be the only ones making compromises.. And if you try to look closely, often times whenever Lauren went off to her girl trips, it usually coincided with when Ben too was out of Denver. But we don't get to see that because since he doesn't use snap/insta story and we only find it out from his tweet location.JMO

If they have actually broken up I don't see the need to play the blame game. Sometimes relationships don't work out. Doesn't mean that one person is bad and the other is good. They just weren't right for each other. They will have no trouble finding the person that is right for them. JMO.
