Vanessa's last relationship was 3 years ago. If the rag mag info is correct about the actor, it was less than 3 years so it would have been casual dating and as unimportant as people Nick dated between shows.  JMO.

Why do you think it's him @notarose ? He kinda reminds me of her celeb crush a bit - so it could make sense

They definitely dated IMO because he corrected them on twitter that she didn't stay with him in july but didn't deny they dated. The tweet is now deleted. Their timeline of dating seems accurate-ish too because he tweeted about going to a hockey game with her, within the timeline they gave it said they dated for about a year and a half. IDK if that's true but if it was, that's definitely more than a casual relationship IMO.

Agreed.    And then when she kind of leaned way down in her seat and was like 'I think I'm funny' or whatever she said. It was like she was trying to convince herself. Or trying to be funny....either way it didnt work. IMO

TBH i thought that was goofy and cute. Maybe that's because I personally love and prefer her brand of humour over Nick's which is more either take a swing at someone else or be self-deprecating.
I'm not sure what an appropriate reaction would be if my fiance said that in front of a bunch of strangers and tv cameras with that manner and tone. He came across pompous IMO.

I think it was playful and funny...the questions were meant to create differences, but to make it more competitive for the couple...it was meant for them to have fun...I think they had delivered it pretty well...

It took 6 minutes for Nick to get ready, other than when he would need to update his hair...Vanessa would take 10 minutes...when Nick said Vanessa screwed up on that one...he had meant to say, I won on this...nothing bad on the way he said it...

On the question for Instagram Use, Nick didn't change his face to Vanessa...that was kind of admitting it was him who had been using social media the most...but, the way it seemed, it was taken as each other since both of them had to drink from their mugs...

Who's the best kisser?...they referred each other...and, they did a sample kiss...which was sensual, very playfully done...

...the last question was who they loved the most and they had referred each other...

I honestly think Vanessa is funnier, Nick is awkward in carrying a joke...we could actually see it from her postings...but, I think Nick is picking up on Vanessa's goofiness... since she is more an extrovert...

This is like - half glass empty and half glass full scenarios...whether you are pessimistic or optimistic with the outcome on the couple...it would reflect on how you perceive their every move...every move will come out awkward/wrong or vice versa depending on how you're foreseeing their future...it's all about the mindset...

I still think he's unimportant in the grand scheme. Rag mags know they have celebrity junkie fans with an appetite for that sort of thing. It was a fun tidbit.

I agree Nick was condescending and even rude to Vanessa - in front of ppl they both just met....

I really don't see them as a match or maybe Nick is just not emotionally available but that's just me.... imo

I see nothing "wrong" in either of them ... so together they make sense to me and their interaction just a typical playful banter between those 2 characters. I see no "red flags", neither is Nick IMO displaying a behavior of a disinterested fiance, actually what I notice is that despite their "we still need to get to know each other" phrase (which is true, when it comes to living together arrangements) they very much understand one another without having to explain to others or to each other much, so there's an ease to be "bare" in front of each other and be true self, without the need to impress or be careful about the reaction of the other (because it's predictable in a way).

So JMO, I have really nothing to discuss regarding them, IMO they are perfectly in-sync that I just enjoy the banter and Nick's further media exposure.

Posting his name is in the grey of my personal ethic line given he is a "nonceleb" therefore didn't sign up to be scrutinized, and that V avoided naming or in anyway identifing men from her past.  I will say something peaked my interest at the beginning of the season and I followed that through to the finale which led to my conclusion.
 

This is how I find them in their relationships, their similarities and differences in personalities have the potential to create harmony and balance in their lives...their flaws would complement each other since they both understand each other...

In addition to these, the intensive love they have for each other will help them thrive for their best to make their relationships (as best friends and lovers) work and last longer (forever)...

No matter how compatible the couples are...if the love, maturity, plus the other traits and their willingness to work on the relationships are not there...success won't happen...

Success doesn't come in easily to couples either way whether compatible or not, if they are not going to work on them...

Nick and Vanessa are at the stage where they are matured and ready to handle any situations that will come their way...and, I believe it will work...I actually think their engagement won't be long...they will get married privately and they maybe ready to have kids right before the end of the year...

This...I totally agree...I love the way they interact to each other...being right is subjective to the situations...any other couple would not admit that they are wrong in any other way, not unless if the partner is 100% passive...that, I think would be quite (too) boring for a relationship...we need honey and spice to make a relationship exciting and fun...it needs hard work to make it successful...

The Ellen video was the cutest thing I have seen in recent days when it comes to these two. It was playful ribbing and I loved it. When she pouts saying she is funnier and Nick ruffles her hair, I saw a level of comfort which I feel takes a while to get to in new relationships.  

IMO These two are doing something right keeping so much of their relationship out of the public eye that we are left discussing and speculating a future potential breakup, a tell-all book written after that future breakup and exes from 3 years past.
