I just think Nick is very lowkey in all his interviews....solo or duo.... He seems to think before he speaks, imo...which doesn't always come across as being super "into" anything. Even some of his DWTS interviews seem this way, and it's kinda a given how much he wanted DWTS. jmo.

I've watched Nick in most things he's been on (podcasts, interviews etc.) and that's just how he is, kind of "unimpressed" by everything. I don't think it has anything to do with Vanessa and I found their banter really cute. Maybe I wouldn't if I thought there was any malicious intent behind it or Vanessa seemed like a particularly sensitive person, but I don't. I think they're both able to speak their minds and to take a joke, and that's what I like about them. I think they enjoy gently riling each other up and it fuels the passion. Nothing wrong with that. Vanessa was teasing him about spending time on his hair, so it's not like it was one-sided. JMO.

I thought it was customary for the lady??? Oh gawd. I'm out of fashion already, I fear, cause you know Nick is gonna rush to beat her to the punch while remaining super "gee oh wow" about it IMO.

Ellen vid - fascinating to hear how diverse opinions are. I think the kingpin is how one "sees" Nick after which interpretation evolves.

New topic: not much is known about Vanessa's former relationships. I'm fairly certain I know who one of her former boyfriends is - Steven Holness known on SM as @balaramaholness Going out on a limb and saying 99% confident.
