As to a televised wedding Was the Janner wedding a 100 guest event? Can't see that kind of restriction working for N&V.

I had heard that several of the couples had issues with an extreme personally restricted guest list while at the same time having to share their special day with people from Bach nation they were not close with. Several of the couples also had other issues, but the over riding factor was getting something for free vs paying for it.
On the other hand, there have been several weddings from couples recently that TPTB did not pay for and those weddings seems just as lovely to me in comparison. So maybe having it your way is a good thing.

God, I would hope Carly and Evan would say no to a wedding that's tied in with BIP this summer. Marcus and Lacey's was one of the most pathetic things I have seen on this show and I would bet it would be very similar to that "wedding."

These bachelor weddings usually happen in the winter in the thick of things for another season. What would be the point in offering one to Ben and Lauren next January or February over two years later if Nick and Vanessa are still together and another bachelor couple will be bewly announced not much later? I would see Nick and Vanessa getting it over them if they're still together, but I doubt they would take it. That would be the smart thing. JMO

IMO allocating seats to non-friend Bach Nation peeps would be ok (barely) as long as it doesn't mean cutting "real" guests from the list. I assume the Janner wedding had a bit of both in terms of alumni.
I thought the "grown" theme of Sean & Cat was disrespectful to them what with the bed scene and all. I only watched those 2.
Definitely feel that a wedding in keeping with wishes of the couple is as it should be. I think a bachelor pad couple posted a YouTube vid of their wedding. I saw it and liked it. If tptb paid for the rights or were given rights to air a wedding segment that was in the control of any of the engagement couples (their own videographer and wedding but cash for airing) IMO that would be the best of both worlds.

I thought Chris and Des engagement festivities and wedding were beautiful and so tastefully done. To see something so beautifully carried out, to hell with compromising with MF. Let him throw in a honeymoon destination with all the bells and whistles. I'm not sure V would give up a wedding in Canada. I just like the idea of doing it completely my way.

@mprssdbyu I thought theirs was spectacular and so personal, also. IMO she is so sweet and tries to do everything tastefully and with class and kindness. What a nice example from this franchise. IMO

I'm 99% sure this is made up. Like someone else said, the writer of the article probably skimmed an IG post of 1 of theirs and looked for negative comments and made up an article around that. Honestly, I've learned that unless an article comes from a source like People, Us Weekly, or E! most of the time it's made up. Also, I find it sad that people are still claiming that they aren't happy based on every post from them on SM. I personally like that besides DWTS, they're keeping things lowkey. I've seen multiple people on twitter claiming that the pic of them & the luggage was awkward and that he looked more comfortable with another contestant. And people are also reading too much into the fact that he didn't post a pic of them from the game.

Nick has coached Vanessa on SM negativity, as per several of their interviews. Vanessa said on the Montreal podcast, yes it's difficult because these people don't know her or her family so she stays away from it.

Unlike Emily who was a mess due to SM comments, these two IMO can and are handling it in a mature manner. They realize they have nothing to prove to anyone as per their own comments. WS's mess of tweets, and Nick's response is one example of how they are handling it as well as the lack of responses by both of them to any comments.
