Nick Viall & Vanessa Grimaldi - Bachelor 21 - Discussion

The caption is even more ridiculous. "Where's the love when cameras aren't rolling?" I'd love to see how these people act with their significant other when roaming around the streets in public.

IMO I don't think she's a realist imho she is an idealist who's having to modify expectations consistently. IMHO she's extremely high maintenance and it will be a LOT of hard work for Nick. Sounds like he's up for the challenge so all the luck to them.

V is an idealist. But she is not an optimistic/glass is half full idealist. Instead, she is dissatisfied/glass is half empty idealist. She is going to have to modify her ideals somewhat in order to compromise for the good of this relationship. Same thing with Nick. He is going to need to modify his ideals somewhat, too. If they can do that, they have a chance. If not, well, they will go the route of 50% of the couples in society. JMHO.

Vanessa said a few things last night that would have given me pause if I was Nick mother or sister. Sure she may have been kidding but I thought there was little digs.
1. Her telling JK that he probably knew Nick better than her
2. Her saying they were doing DWTS together and it was not like he had already done that show 4x
3.  Her talking about how she can be difficult with Chis Harrison. Sure it is nice for her to recognize her challenges but it seems so early in relationship to even be going there.

I don't think Vanessa saying she knows Nick better than his mom is offensive... if I am the mom, I'll be so relieved and proud of her...great job for knowing so much more about my son in such a short time...not every mother/father knows their kids 100% since it is a different perspective in terms of understanding the person, different types of love and relationships...

Vanessa saying that they were doing DWTS together is just a statement...maybe she is kidding that they have done it in their previous lives...we will never know what they have talked about behind closed doors...

Vanessa talking about how she can be difficult with CH, doesn't mean that she'll have difficult time with Nick...she hasn't had much problems with her friends, Nick's friends...I don't really think it would be an issue for Nick...she may be selective with friends, but I applaud her for having loyal, real friends in contrast to having fake ones...

I think CH is very traditional and old fashioned, I don't even think, he would want his wife to be a feminist who will stand up for equal rights or fight for her rights...CH is conceived, born to be totally loyal to TPTB without a doubt, anything going against instructions from TPTB will be a big 'no' 'no' to him...I think CH is paranoid that Nick has taken his glory away from him on TB21 since we hardly see him on the show, where else can he put in his tantrums other than to the person Nick loves and cares for in the show (can you feel my sarcasm)...CH thinks Raven is an apple pie because she is a follower...and, Vanessa is not, although I could say that Vanessa has more compassion than any one of them combined...

Vanessa may be idealistic in terms of wanting a fairy-tale beautiful forever lasting relationship...who does not want that?...but, she is open to the mindset that nobody is perfect, thus loving Nick wholeheartedly, being able to accept Nick's flaws embracing their perfect imperfect relationships with wide loving arms are all she can do right now...as well as with the mindset that they'll try their best to make their relationships work...

Vanessa maybe very structured and need to plan things out before hand, it may not work with others, but I think it would work fine with Nick...

Sometimes it takes a lot of love, patience and understanding to love somebody...no matter how annoying the person maybe...I think both of them have their pet peeves that both of them have to accommodate...that's basically part of the honey, sweet and spices all couples have to endure to achieve the ultimate happiness they are seeking for in life...

I love how the first pics. of them seem like they are ignoring each other. Then when you keep scrolling you see a fun loving couple. Maybe Nick kept the headphones on because he did not want them to bother them.

Sure, Vanessa didn't post it but she acknowledged and "liked" it.  I just don't care for the message it leaves to students, yes adults, who look to her for inspiration.  But I get it.  Many people find it funny or no big deal.  I'm just not one of them.  

Let's be real. I work in the same field as Vanessa and just an FYI, I have been flipped off plenty of times by the people I support. They are no different than the rest of us. Some might not like it and others could care less or just might give you the finger for even suggesting that they should be so protected!

I'm kind of surprised they actually included any photos to show there are clearly 3 people in the group. I'm still trying to figure out if the young boy is part of their group with the backpack walking beside Nick. I'm nosy like that.

ETA the blonde woman walking next to Vanessa clearly was hired to be there in case V needed help holding onto her water bottle.

I don't think it has anything to do with their personalities...I think it is more so on the environment surrounding them...Vanessa comes in with the baggage TPTB has created for her due to her ignorance of not being familiar with TB shows...in addition to her incessant fighting for her love to Nick...

Raven comes in clean... but, after all of these, their immense empathy towards Nick and Vanessa surmounts the good impression Raven has given them...now, that Raven has trapped their sons into people thinking that Nick has taken advantage of her in her FS while intensely loving Vanessa, those great 1st/?th impressions Raven have given them would have already been smudged off with series of big thumbs down...I bet, they have a different tone right now, saying...that boitch...
