The producer probably sued to protect themselves, if they thought Corinne/Demario was not able to give consent.  If they wanted to stop filming and step in, but we're told to keep on filming. Jmo.

I can't know Corrine's state at the time. If she was too drunk to consent to what went down and production knew and encouraged it, then they are 100% at fault. IMO.

Or DeMario was too drunk to consent.... let's not assume it was Corinne, okay? I also think blaming a both-too-drunk-to-consent situation on the man, just because he's the man, isn't really fair.

I agree. Yes, people are responsible for their own drinking, but this is BIP we're talking. They practically force-feed these people alcohol all day long and IMO should be held at least partly responsible for the consequences. Some people just have little self-control in an open bar situation, and while they should know better, it doesn't mean bystanders shouldn't step in if things get out of hand, or at least stop filming. If people are drunk enough, any consent is questionable at best. Sober bystanders filming those questionable actions is straight up taking advantage IMO. If Corinne managed to found some loophole to hold the show responsible, then good for and all of us! JMO.

Is the entire resort rented out to ABC for the duration of filming? If other clients are on the premises and witnessed the "event" in the pool (or maybe their children witnessed it), could they have been the ones who filed the initial lawsuit? Could have been a vacationing lawyer with his pen and paper in hand. Just another thought as to what might have happened? Still strange that filming continued throughout the week.

I'm assuming the worse as far as consent goes. Whether it was yay or nay, tbp obviously felt enough responsibility to show the "consenting" parties. Jmo, the only reason this show would shut down.

Maybe the parties got black out drunk and didnt remember what they did. That would make sense for why production showed them footage of what happened...(just my speculation)

Yea it kind of reminds me of the Stanford case tbh...except with this there's video proof I guess... eek. I'd say this is the end of BIP. Not the Bachelor though, but idk. Jmo
