IMO If there was a question of consent, everyone involved including Corinne, DeMario, the rest of the cast, CH wouldn't appear so chill today. I am not sure what to think but I don't believe consent was the issue.

Like I said, if it's not something serious, then I'm just annoyed that BIP got ripped away from us for something frivolous.

If it were the weather they'd post it. The cast is probably happy because the received a full paycheck to shut up and act cool until told otherwise. JMO - this is either a stunt or this is bad news.

If it's a question of consent then I would think it would be consent to being filmed more than anything else. If they were plastered then the producers can't in good conscience claim they knew they were being filmed and gave their consent. And even if they did, they shouldn't be filming porn. I don't mind a bit of trashiness, but that's taking it way too far IMO. Even if they don't show it on TV, that footage is still out there somewhere.

If this is the case though... that's honestly a bigger issue and has potential to spill over to the entire franchise. I mean, BIP is the trashiest, but that's how all these shows roll. ABC, the "family" network, could decide it's just too messy, all of it. This being the tipping point.

I guarantee they have plenty of prior actual sex footage from prior seasons locked away. This is nothing new. Heck they showed us Ben and Courtney in the ocean doing it. How many did Blob sleep with? The filming of sex isn't new on this show. I hope we find out more soon.

I'm guessing MF would much rather make a nice confidential deal out of court than to compromise any part of the trash that we fondly know as BIP.....

I highly, highly doubt that it's consent to be filmed, IMO.   That all has to be clearly in the contracts.

Again, there is a difference, at least to me, in seeing sex in the ocean like Ben/Courtney or Josh/Amanda with dim lighting under blankets, and blatant acts with possible nudity shown and who knows what else.
There are a lot of degree of things and we simply do not know what all happened. There is sexual footage and then there is sexual footage. I guess another factor is the parties involved and how they dealt with the whole thing. I wonder if Corinne is going to put talking about her famous platinum vagine on the back burner hence forth.

Sounds like they are stating that the issue is a question of consent between two contestants.

I think this is spot on. I'd be very morally conflicted if I were in the producer's position, watching this go down and not being allowed to step in (though IMO it was an issue of both parties being too drunk to give consent). Honestly this is the only scenario where I could see a producer (of all people involved) pressing charges.

IA. Also did I read that this producer didn't turn up to work the next day? So obviously this producer was not happy or upset with whatever went down? JMO
