Sounds like they are stating that the issue is a question of consent between two contestants.

The additional info from the above article:
PEOPLE has learned that a producer allegedly witnessed a drunken sexual encounter between two cast members. It is not clear if charges have been brought against the cast member involved. Warner Bros. has not commented on the specific allegations brought against the cast member.

“It’s an incredibly difficult and complicated situation, primarily involving two contestants,” the source close to the show told PEOPLE “The show absolutely values the primacy of consent, and this instance it appears as though conduct allegedly occurred without the proper consent having been given. There are still a lot of unanswered questions, and a lot of people who need a chance to tell their stories fully, and the producers and the authorities will make sure they are given every opportunity to do so. Most of all, everyone wants to ensure the safety and well-being, both mentally and physically, of all parties involved.”

Not surprised at all that something like this has happened. I can't even watch this show anymore - it is just too trashy IMO. I'll keep sticking to the Bach/Bachette versions!

Yea it has to be about consent, I just can't see the show getting cancelled over a hookup in a pool. because someone can literally say yes but still it can technically be assault if they are too drunk. If the producer thought it was enough to take drastic action it must have been a big deal. I'm not buying the sugar coated version of the story. Jmo.

I think this is spot on. I'd be very morally conflicted if I were in the producer's position, watching this go down and not being allowed to step in (though IMO it was an issue of both parties being too drunk to give consent). Honestly this is the only scenario where I could see a producer (of all people involved) pressing charges.
This it what I believe is the most plausible explanation. That, or possibly the producer did step in, got fired, and is suing for unlawful termination. If that were true, I don't know if they'd legally have an unlawful termination case, but I bet MF would pay them to shut up regardless.

I could see the producer wanting to intervene, knowing how drunk they were, .. but not being allowed to , this is sad.

I'm sorry, but tptb didn't force them to do anything. They got drunk all on their own....certainly not the first time for Corinne. She was drunk most of Nick's season and this wouldn't be her first time naked in front of the cameras. They decided to do whatever it is that they did...all on their own. Just because production makes booze available, doesn't mean they need to imbibe or if they drink, they didn't need to get so blotto they didn't know what they were doing. Nobody ever said she screamed class and he is not much better. Her parents must be so proud. Bachelor In Paradise - Season 4 - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - Page 29 1838857674

I totally agree. I have zero sympathy for anyone who decides it's a good thing to be smashed out of your mind and you have no idea what you're doing. Meanwhile she's liking IG's ATM.

Again, there is a difference, at least to me, in seeing sex in the ocean like Ben/Courtney or Josh/Amanda with dim lighting under blankets, and blatant acts with possible nudity shown and who knows what else.
There are a lot of degree of things and we simply do not know what all happened. There is sexual footage and then there is sexual footage. I guess another factor is the parties involved and how they dealt with the whole thing. I wonder if Corinne is going to put talking about her famous platinum vagine on the back burner hence forth.

IA. I don't think they should be filming any sexual acts beyond making out, but there are definitely different levels of raunchy. If no naked body parts are in view and the people involved are at least somewhat sober then that's one thing. Two wasted people doing lord knows what in plain view, however, is straight up amateur porn and there is no reason for them to be filming it. This isn't pay-per-view, it's a prime time show on ABC. I don't care what their contracts say, it's simply wrong IMO.

If it really is an issue of consent between Corinne and Demario then that's really bad. They need to stop giving these people so much alcohol. JMO.

I hope Corinne's parents wake up and smell the coffee about their daughter and get her some help before it's too late.
This girl is in need of some intervention and treatment IMO before she finally meets up with someone to take advantage of her.
And if not for Corinne's sake, maybe for that younger daughter's sake.

Yeah... I agree. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT wishing r-ape or assault on her. Nor am I "blaming the victim." But she brings this stuff completely on herself. She pushed he envelope on Nick's season, and now she pushed it past the breaking point. Look at this mess. Because a couple of morons had probably 10 too many Jack and Cokes and wanted some air time.

Of corse they make sure there's plenty of booze, but I don't think TPTB are forcing it down anyone's throat.
