Nick Viall - Bachelor 21 - Episode 8 Feb 20 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

They're totally playing up the "will Nick be rejected" storyline ...and the only woman who has been shown with doubt in the edit is Vanessa...

It's so obvious to me that this is not going to happen and Vanessa's doubts are actually about her not being the one not about her rejecting him but TPTB want to play that up because what else is there? Nick is only invested in Vanessa, IMO.

She is something else.

I think it's a very real possibility that he gave her every reason to feel that way. Maybe she should've kept it to herself a little more, but as Nick himself knows, your first go around in this franchise can throw you for a loop. Considering how obvious it is that they've left out a ton of moments between these two, I'm not going to solely blame Vanessa for feeling like she and Nick had something special/different. JMO!

Vanessa's doubts are no different than any other F1's doubts or F4 for that matter. Same old doubt

IMO, I still don't really see the big deal in Vanessa's comment. I think earlier in the season she was probably able to better compartmentalize and focus on just her relationship with Nick and she was likely getting positive affirmation from him so everything was fine.

But now she's fallen in love and the stakes are higher, so fears are higher and she's remembering that "yeah there are other women and I don't know what relationships he's been building with these women" and it scares her.

And then her HTD was basically her family pointing out all the ways this could go wrong and then the one bit of hope she had of his asking her dad for his blessing is blown to bits with her dad basically saying, "yeah he asked every other parent".

IMO She confirms how entitled she is! She's really just disregarded the other girls this entire season. Makes me wonder how she feels watching it back, especially Rachel.

I don't think she was disregarding the other women, I just think she had a LOT of reassurance from Nick that we were not privy to because it ended on the editing room floor. It made her more confident than she otherwise would have been...(I think the yellow bracelet was one of those.)...and tptb can edit that to seem somewhat entitled. Personally I don't think so, but can see how some might interpret it that way.

You're supposed to only care about your relationship with the lead. It's a dating show after all yadda yadda. IMO, it only hits you when things start to get REAL that there's other feelings the lead might have with the other women. When you develop feelings for that person you're bound to get jealous and realize there's 4 other women he spoke to their families as well. I would have the same concerns Vanessa is having if my feelings for Nick were getting deep and I knew there's still the same possibility for those other women to be with Nick as well. jmo

Based on editing this season, I wouldn't be surprised if the final couple is announced on ATFR. JMO

They've cut scenes from every relationship IMO. On Rachel's date when they were talking about Okra, Nick says 'but you don't like anything'. She's clearly picky about food and he knows but we never see that conversation. I don't care if it happens every season, it bothers me whenever ANY of contestants disregard the others or act as if they're the only ones there. All JMO.
